A system that can transmit enough power a distance of 43 km between a drive on the floating production facility and a compressor on the seabed, with the highest voltage and frequency ever delivered
ABB’s solution
A variable speed drive system designed to avoid harmonic disturbances and voltage drops. System consists of a drive and transformer on the platform, and a cable to the transformer and the motor on the seabed.
