Why did we come up with this?

• Speed:– To increase the through-put speed of booking out for the user.

• Flexibility:– Allow old and new users both ways to book out scroll down or shut

the panel.

• Displayed information:– During book out, user can now see the make, model and series of the

vehicle at all times.

• Usability:– Improved user controls using Ajax technology and more color for

quick book recognition

• Accuracy:– Update book information conforms with Karpower and Black Book.

• Future:– Lay the foundation for further enhancements.


How did we increase the speed?

• Current UI only displays one selection at a time and repaints the panel after each selection

• New approach presents them all with no refresh.

• You do not have to select the change button to change your choice

• Select close to the option and it will check the option• Select anywhere in line with the book name and the panel will

How do we present more information?

• We always display the Year, make Model and Series of the vehicle.- Plus now you see the values on the same panel.

• And date the book was last updated or edition and the region.

• New Ajax functionality allows you to collapse or open the panel.• Colors added to the page such as book colors and logos.• Clean look and grayed wallpaper in the back ground.


Updated book layout to conforms to books!

• KBB information displays the same way as the Karpower site
