Madrasah!One of the major informal educational system, Madrasashave contributed to our Country in many spheres likefreedom movement, preservation of cultural identity, literacyEtc. Now the Madrasas are struggling within the floodlight ofglobalization. Here we need Immediate measures totransform the system of madrasa education to overcome theChallenges of globalization, like the implementation of highprofile studies like M.Phil., PhD and Researching, teacherempowerment programmes, innovative instructionalstrategies, adoption of ICT in learning process andintroduction of vocational subjects etc.
ABOUT USAalim Research Institute is one of the high profile World WideEducation for Aalim (Imam) Community. ARI is a not-for-profitcommunity organisation working towards creating an influential anddynamic Aalim community which engages with and contributes to thewider society.
ARI has been dedicated for finding solutions to big challenges andprepare Aalim for leadership roles in this complex world"AIM
VISION
MISSIONThe Mission of ARI is to advance knowledge and educate Aalim in Research,Language, Political, Economy, Science & Technology and other areas ofscholars that will best serve the nation and the world in 21st Century.
The ARI plan to create the talented Aalim. Our Aalim will rival any in thecountry in work ethic and dedication to learning. The Institution affirms that itwill graduate well-educated students who have character, integrity, tolerance,and vision. They will be committed to a life of learning, service, and leadership;capable of making ethical decisions; and prepared to function successfullywithin a diverse, multicultural, and global society.
Values CORE
These are the landslide fall of our traditional Madrasah in Tamil Nadu, the reasons attributed to this ranges from no proper recognition for Aalim, inadequate salary to cover-up basic expenses, parent’s unwillingness to send their wards for Aalim colleges and much more...
If this trend continuous for the next 10-20 years, the numbers of graduated Aalim will go down to single digit and subsequently it might end up in zero (May Allah forbid)
Is it not our collective social responsibility to increase the number of graduated Aalim every year and work for their welfare?
What needs to be done immediately is to equip the graduated Aalim with all the latest knowledge and prepare them for leadership roles. We don’t need any magical wand, instead a professional & strategic approach will help us to attain it.

The ARI Strategic Plan 2015-2018 provides the road map for rebuilding and refocusing the Enhancement of Aalim Society & Madrasahs. The Plan establishes the ‘new’ Aalim Research Institute as:
