Hatu manor (old German name: Hattoküll) was built in 1609. The property is separated from the manor “Padise”. Lars Svensson was the rst owner of the manor. In the 18th century the manor, located in the North, belonged after the war to the noble family von Mohrenschildt. From 1792 until 1919 the manor was owned by the noble family von Rammide.
It has a one-storey main building with a gable roof which was built in 1864 additional to the historic building. The building is dominated by neo-gothic style. The mansion has been pre-served in almost original form to this day; it also has a few outbuildings. The estate is in private ownership.
According to the historical distribution of the Cross parish, Harju County belonged to today’s manor Padise municipality.
