Er. Surjeet Sehgal, Chemistry Coach, Mr. Rajesh Chauhan, Mathematics Coach,
Dr. Kumar Manish M.Sc-Zoology from DU, NET & Ph.D. and Prof. Jitendra Mishra Msc-Botany(DU), NET,-JRF Scholar have become the integral part of Paathshala since 2014 to support the dreams of Medical aspirants and reinforce the dominance of Paathshala in Medical Entrance Examination. & chose to name their eduprenenrial venture as “Paathshala” on 1st Aug – 2011 at Ambala cantt as coaching institute for IIT-JEE, one of the world’s toughest entrance examination for admission into one of world’s finest Engineering colleges, IITs and NITs. The institute was named “Paathshala” to follow our old tradition of teaching in a place where “Guru” truly involved in growth of each and every student (Vidyarthi) upto their optimum level. The vision of this institute is to impart education in an innovative and effective manner, where minimum efforts produce best results through optimization of different variables associated with the student. The initial focus of institute was to provide classroom coaching to students of XII & XI aspiring for IITs and NITs. Encouraged by the response of students in 2012-13, foundation batches for X and Xl were also started to build the base of students at an early age for IITJEE, AIPMT and other national level examinations like OLYMPIADS, KVPY, NTSE & NSTSE. Further demands of Parents encouraged us to expand our wings and Pre-foundation courses for 8th, 7th & 6th were also started keeping in view that paathshala will plant its seeds on its own and will not borrow the weak plants at intermediate level or later stages. Its really difficult to work with a student who has fractured fundamentals in lower classes for IIT-JEE/AIPMT. Role of parents in deciding the Institute and competitive study environment which paathshala provides to every student at every stage from 6th class to 12th class plays a crucial role for nurturing young brains. Paathshala provides 24 × 6 doubt classes, library facility, comprehensive study material, experienced, enthusiastic, hard working, committed expert guidance in all subjects at par with national standards.

To guide as many students as possible to get into good Engineering andmedical colleges and fulfill their dream of becoming good engineer ordoctor... Our AIM
Strive to continuously improve the guidance system which can givestrong individuals full of human values... Our Values
Paathshala is committed to better and better the study environment andguidance system every day at all levels & manners so that JEE or PMTaspirant’s search of capable guidance could end at Paathshala. The processhas started, your support and co-operation is welcome to build the shiningfuture of students. In nut shell paathshala is working day & night so that wecan provide as better guidance to student as possible... Paathshala's guidingprinciples are to make every child realise that he/she is unique and has
natural curiosity to know nature and its laws… Our Vision
to score in CBSE/Schools examinations and IIT-JEE/AIPMT. Every week one class in each
subject is spared for CBSE/school examination preparations. We provide separate
assignments for CBSE/JEE/Olympiads/KVPY/NTSE/NSTSE Preparations.
2. 24 × 6 Doubt-Classes : Doubt clearing sessions are as important as Regular classes. If doubts of student are not cleared, student will lose interest in subject and growth of subject will stop. It is even more important who takes doubts of student, In almost all the institutes, doubt faculty is different from class-room faculty which makes an in- compatible pairing, as two teachers will explain a concept in two different manners. Another fact is that maximum times doubt teacher is incompetent & incapable to take doubts. Paathshala provides you doubt-classes from class-room faculty only who is proficient and expert in the subject. We encourage students to take doubts from any source/book while at maximum institutes student can ask doubts only from the source-material that they have provided to The student, which is not Sufficient if you aspire for top Ranks.
3. Library: Paathshala has a well designed library where a student can study any number of hours, creates an study environment. Library helps those students who can not study when they are alone at home. If they do self study in Library, they can clear their doubts immediately due to availability of teachers in the institute, Which encourages child to study more and more....... and Library extends strong support to the child’s self study.
4. Test Pattern & Analysis: Paathshala conducts tests regularly on every Sunday, of the syllabus covered during the week. First test is based on CBSE pattern, second test on JEE-mains pattern & Third test on JEE-adv pattern. Our testing pattern is exhaustive enough to fine tune the student for performance in CBSE, JEE/AIPMT and other examinations like Olympiads/KVPY/NTSE/NSTSE. Test- Discussion Session held after test removes all doubts from the mind of student if left in a particular topic.
5. Our Shining Stars of Paathshala - 2015 (Toppers of Ambala in IIT-JEE Advanced only
7. Our Focus:To give 100% focused education to make ourstudents conceptually and mentally very strongso that they can get through IIT-JEE (Mains & Adv.)/AIPMT, AIIMS
8. Study Material:
We provide well exposed and exhaustive studymaterial which helps the students to perform wellin IIT-JEE/AIPMT & CBSE Examination.
9. Parent-Teacher-Interface:

The indian institutes of technology (IITs), are a group of sixteen autonomous engineering and technology-oriented institutes of higher education established and declared as institutes of National importance by the Parliament of India. The IITs were created to train scientists and engineers, with the aim of developing a skilled workforce to support the economic and social development of India after independence in 1947. Each IIT is an autonomous university, linked to the others through a common IIT Council, which oversees their administration. They have common admission procedure for undergraduate admissions, called joint entrance examination
(popularly known as IITJEE) to select around 10,000 undergraduate candidates a year. The seven fully established IITs are located in Kharagpur, Bombay, Madras, Kanpur, Delhi, Guwahti, and Roorkee. With the plan to setup eight more IITs in the states of Bihar (Patna), Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh (Hyderabad), Himachal Pradesh, Orissa (Bhubaneshwar), Madhya Pradesh (Indore), Gujarat (Gandhinagar) and Punjab (Rupnagar), and the conversion of IT-BHU to an IIT, the total number of IITs will be increased to 16. Six of the eight proposed new IITs, namely IIT-Patna, IIT-Rajasthan, IIT-Hyderabad, IITBhubaneshwar, IIT-Gandhinagar and IIT-Punjab are functional as of June 2008 and have admitted students for the 2008-09 academic year. All IITs are autonomous universities that draft their own curricula, and they are members of LAOTSE, an international network of universities in Europe and Asia. LAOTSE membership allows the IITs to exchange students and senior scholars with universities in other countries. IIT-JEE is one of the toughest and most coveted Engineering Entrance Exams in the world. The syllabus of the examination is based on topics which are covered by the CBSE Board Examination (AISSCE) and the ISC Board Examination, though all topics of the AISSCE and the ISC are not included in the JEE syllabus. The pattern of questions in JEE is deliberately variable so as to minimize the chance of students getting selected by cramming up the probable questions.
Given the importance attached to the JEE by students allover India, the IITs follow a rigorous procedure when conducting it every year. The exam is set by the JEE Committee (consisting of a group of faculty members drawn from the admitting colleges) under the tightest security. Multiple sets of question papers are framed and the set that is to actually be used on the day of the exam is known to only about five individuals. In the past, the JEE has been noted for originality in its questions. It's a matter of incredible pride to successfully clear this examination and become a part of world of excellence that only IITs are able to provide.

ABOUT NITs
23
The National Institutes of Technology (NITs), is an engineering, science, technology and management school system in India comprising thirty autonomous universities, one located in every state/UT of india. Since their inception decades ago, all NITs were referred to as Regional Engineering Colleges (RECs) and were governed by their respective state governments. A parliamentary legislation in 2002 brought them under the direct purview of India’s federal government. NITs offer degree courses at bachelors, masters and doctorate levels in various branches of engineering and technology. Each NIT takes 50% of students from its home state and 50% from the rest of india. Admissions in NITs and some other premium engineering colleges are through IITJEE(Mains).
The NIT brand is regarded very highly as one of the premier technical education institutes in India. The NITs are rated just next to the Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) in terms of quality of education, research and placementsThe placements in all the NITs have skyrocketed lately, especially at the National Institute of Technology at Tiruchirappalli, Surathkal, Warangal, Calicut, Allahabad and Durgapur. Some of NITs alumni are working as professors in IITs,

ABOUT KVPY/NTSE
NTSE
The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) were established by the Government of India in the year 1961 with a view to bringing about qualitative improvement in school education in the country. No sooner the Council was set up than it mounted a number of programmes in this direction. One such programme was to identify and nurture the talented students. This programme took up the shape of a scheme called National Science Talent Search Scheme (NSTSS) in the year 1963 which provided for the identification of talented students and awarding them with scholarships. During the first year of the implementation of the scheme, it was confined to the Union Territory of Delhi wherein only 10 scholarships were awarded to the Class XI students.

FELLOWSHIPS
The Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is an ongoing programme started by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India to identify and encourage talented students with an aptitude for research in Basic Sciences. Engineering and Medicine. This program strives to assist students to realize their potential for successful careers in research and development and generous scholarships are awarded to the selected students (up to the pre-Ph.D. level).
SA Stream: Students enrolled in Class XI (science streams) and having secured a minimum of 75% (65% for SC/ST) marks in their class X Board Examination’s aggregate of mathematics and science subjects.SB+2 stream: students enrolled in class XII, aspiring to join undergraduate programmes in Basic Sciences (B.Sc./B.S./Integrated M.Sc.) and having secured a minimum of 75% (65% for SC/ST) marks in their class X Board Examination’s aggregate of mathematics and science subjects.
There are two stages in the selection process, namely, a written examination followed by an interview. Candidates from both streams, SA and SB +2, have to appear for a written aptitude test (conducted both in Hindi and English). The question paper in SA Stream will have both multiple choice objective and descriptive type of questions. There is no prescribed syllabus for the written test but its purpose is to test more, understanding and analytical abilities of students and less, their factual knowledge.
The department of Science & Technology, Government of India, offers attractive fellowships (4,000 to 7,000 per month) and a contingency grant (four months fellowship) to selected students.

ABOUT KVPY/NTSE
In the year 1964 the scheme was extended to all the states and the union territories in the country with 350 scholarships for the students of Class XI. These scholarships were awarded on the basis of a written examination, a project report and interview. The written examination comprised the Science Aptitude Test and an Essay on a given scientific theme. The candidates were to submit the project report at the time of the written examination. A stipulated number of candidates selected on the basis of these three components were then subjected to personal interview. The performance of the candidates on these four components was eventually employed for the purpose of awarding scholarships. These scholarships were awarded for pursuing education only in basic sciences up to doctoral level. Consequent upon the introduction of 10+2+3 pattern of education, the NSTS scheme also underwent a change in the year 1976. It was no longer confined to only basic sciences but was extended to social sciences, engineering and medicine as well. It was renamed as National Talent Search Scheme (NTSS). Since the education system in the country was undergoing a change, the scheme was made open to the students of Classes X, XI and XII and separate examinations were conducted for each class. The number of scholarships was raised to 500. The selection procedure was also changed. Now the candidates were subjected to two objective type written tests namely the Mental Ability Test (MAT) and the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). A stipulated number of candidates qualifying these two tests were subjected to face-to-face interview. The final awards were made on the basis of composite scores obtained in the MAT, the SAT and the interview. The number of scholarships was again enhanced from 500 to 550 in the year 1981. These 50 scholarships were exclusively meant for Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates. The number of scholarships was once again escalated to 750 in the year 1983 with a provision of 70 scholarships especially for SC/ST candidates. This arrangement continued until the scheme was decentralised in the year 1985. In the year 2000, the number of scholarships was raised from 750 to 1000 with the provision of reservation for SC and ST candidates based on the national norms of 15 per cent and 7½ per cent respectively. Yet another change in the scheme was made in the year 2006 wherein the NTS examination was held at the end of Class VIII. From the year 2008 examination, a provision of 3 per cent reservation has been made for physically challenged students.
We not only prepare students for the toughest entrance examinations like IIT-JEE and AIPMT but also nourish them to develop a logical/scientific temperament and participate in KVPY and Olympiads.
Sample papers are provided to students which contain question papers of the previous three years.
Students are duly informed on time about application form availability / last dates etc. and are provided complete support and guidance in filling forms (both online & offline)
