EXAM PREPARATION GUIDE | Citrix XenServer 5.6 Administration
4 Exam Sections and Weights
4.1Introduction
The A24 exam is divided into nine (9) sections total. Each section of theexam is weighted as follows, totaling 100%.
4.2 SectionTitles andWeights
Section WeightPre-deployment Planning 9%Configuring XenServer Enterprise Edition 10%Creating Virtual Machines 10%Working with Virtual Machines 13%Managing and Maintaining XenServer Hosts 13%Creating and Managing Storage 13%Working with Pools 13%Using the XenServer Command-Line Interface 8%Business Continuity (High Availability andVirtual Machine Recovery)
11%
Total 100%
4.3 HowSectionWeightsRelate toItems on the
Exam
Section weights correlate directly to the number of items on the exam. For example, if an exam has 60 items, and Section 1 is weighted at 50%,then 30 of the items on the exam will relate to Section 1 (60*50% = 30).
Section weights are NOT used to calculate an exam-takers score.
Section weights are meant to indicate the percentage of the exam thatcovers certain content. Because some items may have different pointvalues assigned to them, section weights and exam scores do not alwayshave a one to one correlation.
