Piranha 3DD The trailer creates excitement and suspense. This reflects

the genre as it’s a comedy horror. The film is about piranha’s infesting a water park and the

lakes surrounding the area and killing people who are swimming in these areas.

By showing a mixture of funny, scary and raunchy clips in the trailer its encouraging people to go the cinema and watch the film.

David Hasselhof is the most famous actor in this movie and is shown on majority of the clips in the trailer, this reflects the genre as its set in swimming environments and he is most famous for “Baywatch” which is also set in a swimming environment.

The trailer consists of short and quick clips to build suspense and one liners to get an idea about what the film is about, and to make people laugh when watching the clip.

The use of a voice over on the trailer is used to tell parts of the story line, the voiceover plays though out the whole trailer except when there's dialogue between people and when loud and fast pace music is being played to build suspense.

Project X The trailer makes the viewer jealous and laugh, as it shows an

amazing house party in which every teenager wishes they were invited to.

The film is about a teenage who isn't too popular at school so decides to throw a party whilst his parents are out of town, but as you see in the trailer the party gets out of hand and the whole neighbourhood gets destroyed.

The trailer makes you want to go to the cinema as it shows quoted of people who have seen it and the saying how amazing the film is, this makes the viewer want to go and see it straight away and not wait for it to come out on DVD.

The film uses new actors who have acted in little films before, this reflects their character in the film as they aren't known either.

The trailer shows quick short clips of the party happening and longer slower clips of dialogue between the host of the party and his friends.

The trailer uses the dialogue from one of the scenes as the voiceover, the scene is of the main character in his bathroom recording himself apologising to his parents about what is happening at the party. This voiceover only stops when there is other dialogue of people talking. The film trailer has party music playing throughout almost as if to get the viewer in a party mood.

Scary Movie 3

The trailer makes you laugh and also makes the viewer try and notice the films that scary movie are impersonating.

The film is about aliens attacking earth to stop a little girl who rang them up telling them they have 7 days to live after they watched a video tape, its also about a farmer who wants to become a rapper and all these story intertwine together.

The trailer shows long slow clips from the film to show the viewer the funniest parts of the movie.

The trailer mainly shows Charlie Sheen and Anna Faris (who stars in majority of the scary movies). They have chosen these actors as they are famous for acting in comedies and have a large viewer following.

American Pie: Reunion The trailer intends to make the viewer laugh and

reminisce about the previous films as this will be the last one with this cast. This fits perfectly with the genre as it’s a comedy about their high school reunion.

The film is about a group of friends who attended high school together and left in 1999. The film is based around their reunion and how their lives have changed since leaving school and moving away from family and friends.

Sean william Scott is the main actor in shown in the trailer as he is the most well recognised out of the cast, due to his character in the film Stifler.

The trailer mainly consists of long and slow clips of the group of friends talking and a few short quick clips of high school parties.

The trailer is mainly dialogue between the characters talking about their past with each other, also it consists of one liners and clips of the best bits of the film.
