Because It’s Time
Thank You for Your Vote in the Primary
WITH SINCEREST THANKS
To the citizens of Browns-ville that supported me in my mayoral campaign. A very special thanks to my Core Committee Members who went above and beyond my expectations, your support and commitment is unfound-ed. You are simply the best. To my friends and family, you were always there through the good and not so good times, I could not have made the journey without you.
To the immediate past Mayor it was my pleasure to serve with you for 16 years, and to the families of the two (2) mayors before him I appreciate the opportunity to have served with them, and to the citizens of Brownsville it was a very humbling experience to be of service to you for 32 years. THANK YOU, ANNE BANKS
Haywood County State of Schools CelebrationStudents in Haywood
County are not the only pupils who prepped for the 2010 school year. The administration, faculty and staff did as well at the annual State of the Schools Celebration. Hundreds of employees in the school district attended the energized affair and sported their school shirts as they packed into the HHS gymnasium for the ceremonies.
Superintendent Marlon King addressed his faculty with the state of the schools and students provided upbeat entertainment with the HHS show choir, HHS school band and the HHS Temptations all performing. East Side Elementary School fourth grade student Jackson Pettigrew gave the annual charge to the teachers. Door prizes were also given away from local businesses. Haywood County faculty and staff exuded school spirit as Supt. King announced the roll call of schools at the State of Schools
Celebration.

HHS principal Dorothy Bond announces the line-up for the Tomcat Homecoming this year. Students will be let out of school early that Friday to attend tailgating and parade festivities.
The State of Schools Celebration provided a time for cheers for the Haywood County school district’s faculty, staff and administration.
