Please bring a serving utensil. * Take your food to the Fellowship Hall beginning at 9:00 a.m. * The kitchen will supply the ham, rolls, and beverages. You may sign up by turning in the tear-off tab located in the bullen this morning. You may also sign up in Sunday School or by calling the church at 753.3413. No childcare will be provided. The new process will integrate beer with our church accounng soſtware and make reporng and tracking much easier. Prison Fellowship Angel Tree Ministry Angel Tree Party: December 5 • 6:00 p.m. • Fellowship Hall Christmas me is especially lonely for hundreds of Arkansas children who have an incarcerated parent. Names of these children are available this morning in the breezeway. The nametags will include the age and giſt ideas for each child. One of the lessons that Mom and Dad passed on to my siblings and me was the pracce of living each day with a spirit of gratude. We were constantly encouraged to express thanks to God. It’s hard to overesmate the value of a grateful heart. Thankful people stand out against the backdrop of a rude and callous world. Thankful people focus less on what they lack and more on the privileges they have. Gratude is totally fing during those mes when you feel blessed by God. Gratude is also appropriate during the rough seasons of your life. In fact, many mes it is maintaining a spirit of gratude that brings us through the hard mes. I encourage you to spend some me this week reflecng on your blessings. Rehearse the goodness of God in your mind and heart. Counng your blessings daily will make you a happier person. The apostle Paul said it this way, “Give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Eph. 5:20). Happy Thanksgiving. How to Become a Christian Admit that you are a sinner. (Romans 3:23) Believe that Jesus is God’s son. (Acts 4:12) Confess Jesus is your Lord. (Romans 10:9) Perhaps today is the day for your salvaon.
