ECA Website For anyone who wants to catch up on their reading, our Treasurer Alan Scharf has updated a number of areas on our Edgewood website, including the publishing of all the past newsletters that we have on file. Be sure to check out stories on the “Neighbors Speak Out” page. FDOT Construction Projects At our February meeting, we heard from the FDOT on two road projects that will affect Edgewood. They are finishing up the first construction project on SW 4 th Avenue -- changing the width of the lanes, as well as adding bike lines. The second project is on SR 84 and SW 15 th Avenue, which began with many of the trees being removed in preparation for construction at this intersection. The construction project is expected to begin this Spring and be completed in the Fall. Storm Water Speaker Cancelled The March speaker regarding Storm water Master Plan Process has been rescheduled for a special joint Edgewood/River Oaks meeting to discuss the Storm Water Master Plan, to be held on March 8 at 6pm, at the Church of the Nazarene (2300 SW 15th Avenue). City commissioner Romney Rogers and Storm Water Master Plan Update team member(s) will attend and present. The new speaker for our March 1 meeting is: CERT Speaker (Community Response Emergency Team) Please come and listen to Captain Lesly St. Fleur speak about the Fort Lauderdale CERT program.
