helped us to ‘think out of the box’ and produce some visioning ideas through interactive brainstorming activities…”

“It’s amazing that we came to consensus in such a short time from such a diverse group.”

Failing to plan = planning to fail

Why Is A Vision Needed? Tradition of annual cycles breaks

continuity, consistency and consensus. Clubs end up “re-inventing the wheel”

instead of moving forward. Vision keeps forward motion on critical

issues. A Club with Vision “sees” the reality of

today with the possibilities of tomorrow.

“Rotary is not an organization for retrospection. It is rather one

whose worth and purpose lie in future activity rather than past

performance.”

The Visioning Process Be bold and think

outside the box. Suspend your

practical side. Allow yourself to

dream grand dreams.

The practical sorting process will come later.
