About the Institute:

About Conference:

Laureate Institute of Pharmacy is the pioneer institution conducting

Pharmacy courses in the State of Himachal Pradesh. It is an independent, co-

educational and self financed institution offering Undergraduate and

Postgraduate pharmacy programmes. The institute is situated on NH-21 at

Kathog, 2 kms ahead of Jawalji, the famous temple of Himachal Pradesh and

50 kms away from Dharamsala. The nearest Railway station is Amb Andora

(40 KM) and nearest airport is at Gaggal (42 KM). The Institution is

approved by PCI, AICTE and is affiliated to Himachal Pradesh Technical

University, Hamirpur. The institute is provided with excellent infrastructure

such as spacious laboratories equipped with sophisticated instruments, in

house facilities of pilot plant etc. The ambience of the campus is designed to

induce learning and makes the duration of the stay in the campus pleasant,

comfortable and educative. When the students leave the premises they are

brimming with knowledge and confidence to meet the challenges in their

professional career. Laureate institute of pharmacy has been recognized as

one of the best pharmacy college in the region.

With the escalating number of effective drug molecules the importance of

drug delivery plays a critical role in achieving enhanced therapeutics that

combine a drug with a targeted delivery system to improve the therapeutic

outcome. Starting from a clinical need, the development of enhanced

therapeutics through the application of appropriate drug delivery technology

bears great opportunities but remains a challenge at the same time. The

conference greatly contributes to the promotion of new concepts for the

development of efficient methodologies for drug delivery and its practical

applications. The conference will provide a brilliant information platform for

domestic researchers to communicate with national/ international experts

and push forward the drug delivery systems. This conference has potential to

develop new avenues in collaborations between academia, industry and

institutes to further develop or apply drug delivery technologies towards the

market.
