In response to media attention to the study, the Australian Breastfeeding Association’s PR manager mentioned both on national television and to print media journalists...

‘Maybe we need to have a National Breastfeeding in Public day

where mums can get out there with their friends and maybe the numbers will help

them feel more comfortable.’
