INTRODUCTION

Bank Millie Afghan is Afghanistan's first bank. It was established in 1933 and it was in charge of dealing with the Central Bank until 1939 when Da Afghanistan Bank was established. Afghanistan's Central Bank has licensed 12 commercial banks to date. Out of 12, 7banks are fully-fledged commercial banks and the remaining five are branches of foreign banks.

Maiwand Bank Maiwand bank is one of the largest ,strongest and fastest

growing commercial bank in Afghanistan .the bank was established & commenced banking operation from 1st January , 2009.Within a short span of 7 years , the bank has a branch net work of 42 branches with deposits of USD 335 million and advances of USD 150 million .Farther licenses for opening of more branches are under process .The bank has presence in 17 providences and intends to mark it is presence in all provinces in near future.
