Our troops say that the most cherished items in the packages are the personal letters of appreciation

from Americans.

Don't worry that the servicemember won't find what you write about interesting, your letter will be

appreciated.

Your letter should introduce yourself.

Ask your servicemember questions to

give them something to respond to. It

is possible that they won’t reply to

you, because they are busy.

I love to hike, drum, read, ski, and dance to live bands with my friends.Where are you stationed? I can’t imagine how hard it would be to serve in the military. I really appreciate your commitment and sacrifice in being away from home and fighting for our freedom.
