A sketchnote on up-scaling of a universalization of elementary education intervention

~Made during a meeting of Lok Jumbish Project of Rajasthan, India ~

The sketchnote –a sort of hand drawn infographic - in the previous slide sums up a four hour discussion meeting on the topic and was my first attempt after some initial reading about the skill.

You must make a beginning since it not a fine art but freehand line drawing is used to make information concise

Initially, do not bother – just get going about the looks

Start doing and you will improve with every sketchnote

Visual intelligence and visual thinking are much in demand in:

Improves right hemisphere of brain Improves recall – after a few months of

practice recall is said to increase by 30%

Helps in reducing information load Looks nice to the eyes after skill gets

honed Meetings and conferences become the

meaningful because of being linked to right-brain function

Practiced the following by drawing them five times each

Information boxes, containers and banners

Arrows and connectors Stylish writing with swirls, shades,

strokes, double-lining etc.
