Rational & Overall Goal

The goal of this ongoing activity is to convert solar energy (directly and in combination with that stored in the form of lignocellulosic biomass) to liquid hydrocarbon fuels – as substitutes for petroleum-based fuels (gasoline, jet, diesel).
