I know you know at least one person that you would be proud to introduce to your great lodge. Bring them up to the lounge for dinner and drinks. We have some of the best food in town, and I know the best drinks. Keep in mind, when bringing guest, sign them in, and only Elks members in good standing can purchase drinks. Your guests won’t mind a bit. Tell them about the charitable work Elks do in the community, and the support we give our veterans. Tell them how much fun we have doing these things, and how it’s like a big ole family up here. Then tell them how they can be a part of it. I hope everyone has a fun and safe summer here at your Elks lodge. See ya soon! Exalted Ruler, Shane Cook

Message from the Esquire:
First I would like to thank everyone who participated in our baseball trip. Not only did we
get to watch the Cubby’s win..especially with JJ there, but a heck of a game which included
for gingers, a lot of runs, and some great defensive plays. More so was the comradery
amount our travelers. Some old friends laughing it up, new ones sharing stores over liba-
tions, and even what could only be describes as an impromptu sing-a-long on our ride
home….BRAVO!!! I look forward to our next venture, and expanding our merry band!
Second: to the person or persons who anonymously paid my pool party rental. A VERY
SINCERE THANK YOU. Our office manager, Lisa, can tell you I was upset with it at first.
Not that I am not grateful, but self admiring too proud! And look at it as charity, not the
hand of friendship. You all have taken in this Yankee and made me one of your own.
I just want to restate how proud I am to be a member of this Lodge and your friend.
Sincerely and Fraternally yours,
Kevin Burns
