We are about to start August and where has the time gone! From enduring mid to high 90 degree weather, to almost fall like weather we have had the last few days, we need to get the most out of the nice weather while we still can. The Jefferson Summer Concerts at Rotary Park is still going on every Thursday night from 6:30pm – 9pm all the way through the end of August. So if you haven’t went down to see one of the great bands yet this summer, you really should check out the new pavilion and see how Jefferson rocks! Also remember our Jefferson Farmer’s Market is also held every Thursday from 11am-6pm behind City Hall. Take advantage of all the great vendors and local produce and stay for the show later on! The Jefferson Chamber of Commerce wants to thank all our volunteers who helped out with the Fair Bartending this year. Along with the perfect weather we had, it was another great success for the Jefferson County Fair, fair-goers, and for the Chamber. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year. It allows us to continue offering scholarships, to give back to our community and keep our businesses promoted and connected through our great Chamber events. Speaking of important events, with the end of summer approaching, Gemelichkeit Days and The Fall Car Show will be here before we know it. If you can volunteer and take part in either of these great events please contact the Chamber office. A representative from these committees will also be in touch to see if you, your family or staff is available to help. Autumn Fest and Fall City-Wide Rummage Sale will also be coming up in a few short months. If you are looking to participate in this great fall downtown day, you can pick up forms at the Chamber office. You can also now download the participation forms for Autumn Fest and Fall City-Wide Rummage Sale from our website. If you haven’t noticed, our Jefferson Chamber of Commerce has just updated our website to Wordpress. This will make it easier for Janet and Amanda to keep the site updated with current information. Please check out the new format and give us a comment on what you think. All feedback is helpful! With our new website, there is space to display a logo for each of our Chamber Member businesses. If you have a logo you’d like displayed on the website, and are a chamber member, please send it in so we can post it as soon as possible. This is a cool, new added feature that the Chamber can offer so please send us your logo to attach to your member listing. “To serve you, our Members and Community through PACE, we Promote, Advocate, Connect and Educate our Members.” Dr. Bill Lust Pain Relief Chiropractic
