1. This Development Variance Permit is issued subject to compliance with all of thebylaws of the Regional District applicable thereto, except as specifically varied orsupplemented by this Development Variance Permit.

2. This Development Variance Permit applies to and only to those lands within theRegional District described below, and any and all buildings, structures and otherdevelopment thereon:

3. Thompson-Nicola Regional District Bylaw No.1949, a Bylaw to regulateManufactured Home Parks is varied as follows:

a) Manufactured Home Space NO.2:

Notwithstanding Section 6.4(b)(iii) of Bylaw No. 1949, "Collector andDistributor Roads with no parking shall have a minimum paved width of6.7 meters (22.0 feet) and a right-of-way of 12 meters (39.4 feet)." isvaried to allow a right-of-way of 6.7 meters.

b) Manufactured Home Space NO.4:

Notwithstanding Section 6.4(b )(iii) of Bylaw No. 1949, "Collector andDistributor Roads with no parking shall have a minimum paved width of6.7 meters (22.0 feet) and a right-of-way of 12 meters (39.4 feet). "isvaried to allow a right-of-way of 6.7 meters.

Notwithstanding Section 7.1(b) of Bylaw No. 1949, "Ancillary buildingsshall be located at least 7.5 meters (24.6 feet) from any manufacturedhome space;" is varied to allow an ancillary building to be located 0meters from a manufactured home space line on manufactured homespace NO.6.

d) Manufactured Home Space No.8:

Notwithstanding Section 6.4(b )(iii) of Bylaw No. 1949, "Collector andDistributor Roads with no parking shall have a minimum paved width of6.7 meters (22.0 feet) and a right-of-way of 12 meters (39.4 feet)." isvaried to allow a minimum paved width of 5.03 meters and a right-of-wayof 5.03 meters; and

Notwithstanding Section 4.27(c) of Bylaw No. 1949, ''Tenant Storage, onestorage facility (shed) may be constructed on each manufactured homespace, provided that: it does not exceed 2.4 meters (7.9 feet) in height." isvaried to allow a maximum height of 2.6 meters.

e) Manufactured Home Space No. 12:

Notwithstanding Section 6.4(b )(iii) of Bylaw No. 1949, "Collector andDistributor Roads with no parking shall have a minimum paved width of6.7 meters (22.0 feet) and a right-ot-way of 12 meters (39.4 teet)." isvaried to allow a right-of-way of 6.7 meters.

f) Manufactured Home Space No. 13:

Notwithstanding Section 6.4(b )(iii) of Bylaw No. 1949, "Collector andDistributor Roads with no parking shall have a minimum paved width of6.7 meters (22.0 feet) and a right-of-way of 12 meters (39.4 feet)." isvaried to allow a minimum paved width of 4.48 meters and a right-of-wayof 4.48 meters; and

Notwithstanding Section 4.18(b) of Bylaw No. 1949, "Setbacks, no part ofany manufactured home or any addition shall be located within 1.5meters(4.92 feet) of the side manufactured home space line on one side and 4.5meters (14.76 feet) on the other side;" is varied to allow a manufacturedhome and addition to be located within 1.26 meters of the sidemanufactured home space line on one side and 4.5 meters on the otherside.

Notwithstanding Section 6.4(b)(iii) of Bylaw No. 1949, "Collector andDistributor Roads with no parking shall have a minimum paved width of6.7 meters (22.0 feet) and a right-of-way of 12 meters (39.4 feet)." isvaried to allow a right-of-way of 6.7 meters.

Notwithstanding Section 4.18(a) of Bylaw No. 1949, "Setbacks, no part ofany manufactured home or any addition shall be located within 3 meters(9.8 feet) of internal access road right-of-way or common parking area:" isvaried to allow a manufactured home to be located within 1.505 meters ofinternal access road right-of-way; and

h) Manufactured Home Space No. 15:

Notwithstanding Section 6.4(b)(iii) of Bylaw No. 1949, "Collector andDistributor Roads with no parking shall have a minimum paved width of6.7 meters (22.0 feet) and a right-of-way of 12 meters (39.4 feet)." isvaried to allow a right-of-way of 6.7 meters.

Notwithstanding Section 4.18(a) of Bylaw No. 1949, "Setbacks, no part ofany manufactured home or any addition shall be located within 3meters(9.8 feet) of internal access road right-of-way or common parking area:" isvaried to allow a manufactured home to be located within 1.34 meters ofinternal access road right-of-way; and

i) Manufactured Home Space No. 16:

Notwithstanding Section 6.4(b )(iii) of Bylaw No. 1949, "Collector andDistributor Roads with no parking shall have a minimum paved width of6.7 meters (22.0 feet) and a right-of-way of 12 meters (39.4 feet)." isvaried to allow a right-of-way of 6.7 meters.

Notwithstanding Section 4.18(a) of Bylaw No. 1949, "Setbacks, no part ofany manufactured home or any addition shall be located within 3 meters(9.8 feet) of internal access road right-of-way or common parking area:" isvaried to allow a manufactured home to be located within 2.082 meters ofinternal access road right-of-way; and

j) Manufactured Home Space No. 17:

Notwithstanding Section 4.27(c) of Bylaw No. 1949, "Tenant Storage, onestorage facility (shed) may be constructed on each manufactured homespace, provided that: it does not exceed 2.4 meters (7.9 feet) in height." isvaried to allow a maximum height of 4.2 meters; and

Notwithstanding Section 4.27(c) of Bylaw No. 1949, "Tenant Storage, one

storage facility (shed) may be constructed on each manufactured homespace, provided that: it does not exceed 10 square meters (107.6 squarefeet) in area;" is varied to allow a maximum area of 55 square meters.

k) Manufactured Home Space No. 19:

Notwithstanding Section 4.18(c) of Bylaw No. 1949, "Setbacks, no part ofany manufactured home or any addition shall be located within 1.5 meters(4.95 feet) of the rear manufacture home space line;" is varied to allow amanufactured home and addition to be located within 0 meters of the rearmanufactured home space line; and

Notwithstanding Section 4.22(b) of Bylaw No. 1949, "Within the bufferarea no manufactured home area or an owner's residential plat shall belocated;" is varied to allow a manufactured home space No. 19 toencroach 1.228 meters into the buffer area.

I) Manufactured Home Space No. 21 :

Notwithstanding Section 7.1 (b) of Bylaw No. 1949, ''Ancillary buildingsshall be located at least 7.5 meters (24.6 feet) from any manufacturedhome space;" is varied to allow an ancillary building to be located 0.335meters from manufactured home space 21.

m) Manufactured Home Space No. 23:

Notwithstanding Section 4.18(b) of Bylaw No. 1949, "Setbacks, no part ofany manufactured home or any addition shall be located within 1.5 meters(4.92 feet) of the side manufactured home space line on one side and 4.5meters (14.76 feet) on the other side;" is varied to allow a manufacturedhome and addition to be located within 1.5 meters of the sidemanufactured home space line on one side and 4.172 meters on theother side.

n) Manufactured Home Space No. 24:

Notwithstanding Section 4.10 of Bylaw No. 1949, ''the minimum frontageof each manufactured home space abutting an internal roadway right-of-way shall be 12 meters (39.4 feet);" is varied to allow a minimum frontageof 5.97 meters;

Notwithstanding Section 4.18(b) of Bylaw No. 1949, "Setbacks, no part ofany manufactured home or any addition shall be located within 1.5 meters(4.92 feet) of the side manufactured home space line on one side and 4.5meters (14.76 feet) on the other side;" is varied to allow a manufacturedhome and addition to be located within 1.5 meters of the sidemanufactured home space line on one side and 2.398 meters on theother side; and

Notwithstanding Section 4.18(c) of Bylaw No. 1949, "Setbacks, no part ofany manufactured home or any addition shall be located within 1.5 meters

(4.95 feet) of the rear manufacture home space line;" is varied to allow amanufactured home to be located within 0 meters of the rearmanufactured home space line.

0) Manufactured Home Space No. 25:

Notwithstanding Section 4.27(c) of Bylaw No. 1949, 'Tenant Storage, onestorage facility (shed) may be constructed on each manufactured homespace, provided that: it does not exceed 2.4 meters (7.9 feet) in height." isvaried to allow a maximum height of 3.4 meters; and

Notwithstanding Section 4.27(c) of Bylaw No. 1949, "Tenant Storage, onestorage facility (shed) may be constructed on each manufactured homespace, provided that: it does not exceed 10 square meters (107.6 squarefeet) in area;" is varied to allow a maximum area of 24 square meters.

p) Manufactured Home Space No. 31:

Notwithstanding Section 6.4(b )(iii) of Bylaw No. 1949, "Collector andDistributor Roads with no parking shall have a minimum paved width of6.7 meters (22.0 feet) and a right-of-way of 12 meters (39.4 feet)." isvaried to allow a right-of-way of 9.968 meters.

q) Manufactured Home Space No. 33:

Notwithstanding Section 6.4(b)(iii) of Bylaw No. 1949, "Collector andDistributor Roads with no parking shall have a minimum paved width of6.7 meters (22.0 feet) and a right-of-way of 12 meters (39.4 feet)." isvaried to allow a right-of-way of 10.488 meters.

r) Manufactured Home Space No. 35:

Notwithstanding Section 7.1 (b) of Bylaw No. 1949, "Ancillary buildingsshall be located at least 7.5 meters (24.6 feet) from any manufacturedhome space;" is varied to allow an ancillary building to be located 0meters from a manufactured home space line on manufactured homespace No. 35.

(b) The map attached hereto as Schedule "B" is incorporated in and forms partof this Development Variance Permit.

4. The deveJopment shall be carried out according to the following time schedule:Project must commence in accordance with Item 7 below.

5. As a condition of the issuance of this Development Variance Permit, the Board ofDirectors is holding the security set out below to ensure that development iscarried out in accordance with the terms and conditions of this DevelopmentVariance Permit. Should any interest be earned upon the security, it shall accrueto the Permittee and be paid to the Permittee if the security is returned. Thecondition of the posting of the security is that should the Permittee fail to carry

out the development hereby authorized, according to the terms and conditions ofthis Development Variance Permit within the time provided, the Regional Districtmay use the security to carry out the work by its servants, agents or contractors,and any surplus shall be paid over to the Permittee, or should the Permittee carryout the development permitted by this Development Variance Permit within thetime set out above, the security shall be returned to the Permittee. There is filedaccordingly:

(a) An Irrevocable Letter of Credit in the amount of $nil;(b) A Certified Cheque in the amount of $nil; or(c) A Bank Draft in the amount of~.

6. Land described herein shall be developed strictly in accordance with the terms,conditions and provisions of this Development Variance Permit and any plansand specifications attached to this Development Variance Permit which shallform a part hereof.

7. If the Permittee does not commence the development permitted by thisDevelopment Variance Permit within two (2) years of the date of the authorizationof this Development Variance Permit, this Development Variance Permit shalllapse.

8. Any application to amend this Development Variance Permit shall be consideredas a new application.

9. This Development Variance Permit is not a Building Permit.
