Now let us see the end of the story:Limore Simchi, the teacher of

“Parpar” class in Akko told her class the story that came from “Akiba” and

they continued the play…

Page 18: A new tradition!

The children from Akiba Academy of Dallas asked the magic oil Jug to take them to their friends from “Parpar “ class in Akko.

The jug fulfilled the mission successfully and the Akiba’s children were immediately transported to Akko. When they met with “Parpar” children they

told them what happened and said:

“If we give our magic Jug to the Maccabim, we would never be able to go home again .On the other hand, if we do not give it to them, Hanukkah miracle would

not happen.”

The children of “Parpar” thought about it and said:

“The Maccabim could not use your jug of oil anyway because it had already been opened. The Cohen in the temple is only allowed to light the Menorah

with pure oil from a jug that is sealed and is kept for the purpose of lighting the Menorah.” said the “Parpar” children.

“So, we can not help the Maccabim?” asked the “Akiba children sadly and added:" We really want to help them make a miracle”

“Do not worry” said the children of “Parpar” class, “You are our friends and we will find a solution for you. We will make new pure olive oil for you to take to

the Maccabim”

Page 19: A new tradition!

The children of “Parpar” class remembered that they had an old olive tree in their class yard. They went out quickly with long sticks in their hand.

“Why do you take those long sticks” asked the Akiba children”

“When we want to pick the olives we have to hit the tree with a stick, that how it has been done for years” said the “Papar” children

The “Parpar” children start hitting the tree and a lot of olives fall on the ground .

Our olive tree

It seems enough olives for making new olive oil ….

Page 21: A new tradition!

We start smashing the olives

with special tools for making oil.

“Look” said the children of “Parpar” class ”We manufactured a lot of olive oil and we put it in a small jug for you

to take to Jerusalem”

Page 23: A new tradition!

“Thank you so much for helping us help the “Maccabim” said “Akiba” children

“Your welcome” said “Parpar” children” Let us hope that in the future we will be able to cooperate and do more things

together for others”

Suddenly there was a big light….

The Akiba” children went back to the temple in Jerusalem, gave the jug of oil to the Maccabim. The Maccabim thanked the children and suddenly there was a big light…

The children of “Akiba” found themselves on the beach with a simple pottery jug that reminded

them of their journey with the magical golden jug
