1. Quench/scrubber zone Intensive injection of process water binds dust particles found in emissions and thereby cools the gas to its saturation point (quench). As a consequence, SAWA ensures high separation performance.
2. Mist collection The water drops containing dust and water-soluble hazardous materials are removed from the gas stream with a centrifugal separator.
3. Water treatment Solid materials collected in the wet scrubber are filtered out reliably. The cleaned scrubbing water flows back into circulation in order to save resources.
4. Areas of applicationn As a dust scrubber upstream of a bio scrubber (SABA)n As a hydrogen chloride (HCl) scrubber for protecting
