‐ URGENT ALERT Please call your legislators today in
Frankfort. InGovernor Bevins' budget request, he is asking
everycabinet to cut their cost to 4.5% starting now and thenan
additional 4.5% for next year's budget. Our FamilyResource/Youth
Service Centers will be affected bythese cuts. They serve in the
Cabinet of Health andFamily Services, not the Department of
Education.
Our legislators need to hear from us how valuable andimportant
it is to have our Family Resource YouthService Center Coordinators.
They are very importantto our parents and their children. They help
stop the social barriers that students have in trying to
learn. They facilitate getting the students clothing,
eyeglasses, transportation, and many other barriers thatwould keep
our students from coming to school orlearning. They are the main
staple in many of ourchildren's lives.
Call your legislator today. Urge her/him to not cut ourFamily
Resource Youth Service Centers.
