Readers : Break Open The Word The 2019 Book for Readers is available for Proclaimers of the Word to borrow to help prepare for their reading ministry. All copies are ‘Parish’ stamped and should be held by the Readers for just one week at a time.

Parish Celebration To mark the 70th Anniversary of our parish, the 40th Anniversary of the blessing of our new Parish Church of Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament and also to celebrate the culturally diverse presence in our Parish, we invite you to share a multicultural lunch at the Parish Centre next Sunday, 18th August after 9.30am Mass. Please indicate on the list in the foyer the traditional dish you could bring and share with fellow parishioners.

New Rosters - Proclaimers of the Word, Greeters Proclaimers of the Word, (Readers & Commentators) and Greeters are needed on the new rosters being drawn up soon. New volunteers are especially invited to join these ministries and add their names to the list in the foyer. Those on the current rosters, are asked to recommit by adding your name to the list. Training will be provided for new Proclaimers of the Word.

Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary The Assumption is a Day of Obligation. There will be a whole school Mass at 9.00am and parish Mass at 7.00pm this Thursday. There will be NO MASS at 8.00am

National Vocations Awareness Week Vocations come from families, communities and parishes. Strong families and communities are the place where vocations are first nurtured. In this National Vocations Awareness Week, let us pray for all families in our parish, and for those preparing for marriage. Let us also pray that our parish community may always be welcoming and encouraging of vocations to marriage, priesthood and consecrated life.
ACYF Youth Night December seems so far away but we all know its only a matter of time before ACYF is around the corner. That being so, Gosnells Youth invites all ACYF attendees to join us for a social gathering on the 23rd of August at 6.30pm in the St Munchin’s School Hall to better familiarise ourselves with our fellow attendees.
