Acme Airlines is an airlines that has been around for over 20 years with a loyal customer base. Recently being voted in Forbes Magazine as one of the top 20 places to work. An idea shared by It's 2,000 employees (100 carrier fleet) makes it an excellent place to call a career. Andrew Tyler the President of Acme has decide to task the Corporate Communications Development team to spearhead these major projects. The projects are broken into II phases, one the Graphic Design Project and secondly the Multimedia Project. They will start project January 3 an ending December 28. While the redesign of planes will take a no less then 1 year and

more then 6 years to complete the entire fleet.

The Timeline

The Goal is to complete this project in 1 year from 2008-2009. The Graphic Design Department will work closely with the Multimedia Department to come up with the best possible solutions for every aspect of the company's redesign.

New internet Technology

The multimedia department will also train to understand the application Sharepoint by Microsoft. Sharepoint is shared platform where employees can share docuements, blog, share workspaces and utilize other as well as specialized applications like wikis and blogs from a browser. To the general public the site will look and feel like a normal html site but on the back end it will have the capabilities to be connect portal for the employees.

The training will begin July 5 through July 23.

Graphic Design The Director of Communications will oversee every aspect of the design process to ensure quality, consistency, and look of design. The company will use online printing companies to keep cost down for every printing project outside of the redesign of the fleet. The graphic/web design department is responsible for phase I of the print projects, starting January 3 and completing June 6. This depart will provide feedback to the multimedia department un site layout and direction, using the new Sharepoint application if necessary. .

Printing Vendors www.psprint.com Excellent pricing for business cards, letter heads, newsletters, envelopes and other print collateral. Crider Aircraft Painting, Inc- will be used for the new look for the each aircraft. They offer a two-year warranty valid in our facility only, for material and workmanship on privet and corporate aircraft (one year for corrosion on magnesium skins) and one year for cargo and commuter aircraft.

Fleet Redesign

During this time the first Boeing 727 and Boeing Business Jet will fly to Crider Aircraft Painting in Mena, Arizona for the first redesign. The painting process takes 12 to 14 days to complete and and is shceduled to began and finish between June 1 through July 3. The planes redesign reschedule will be 1 plane every 6 months till the entire fleet is complete.

Our fresh new look will be the envy of all our competitors. We will start using our aircraft's tails as the canvas to tell the stories about our customer base. Our Boeing Business Jet will be the 1st plane to roll out with our new look. It will be designed with our new logo along with an illustration of a business man or a business woman to the left of the AA. Our Boeing 727 will have any number of illustrations, but not subject to one design, due to plane size. The most popular cities we service will determine a specific illustration is on that particular flight such as: • Boeing Business Jet- Business woman/man - Atlanta, Washington,DC, Boston, New

York City, Dallas & LA• Boeing 727- Family, Single Dad, Single Mom- Popular Vacation spots• Boeing 727- Couple- Honey Moon Destinations, Romantic Getaways, or weekend trips

The Tail

Multimedia DesignThe Director of Communications will oversee every aspect of this project as well, but allowing the creative department to sit in on meetings to become associated with the new Web 2.0 and Sharepiont applications. The multimedia department is responsible for the phase II project. The Graphic /web department will work on the new layout, while the multimedia will began to do research and develop the understanding of Web 2.0 technology ( web cast, pods, blogs, and social book marking) along with moving into the next generation of web development. The current Acme Airlines will make the transition to an interactive business portal called Sharepoint, developed by Microsoft.
