Prenatal Development
• The process to which a baby-to-be can grow inside of the mother and takes nine months for a full-term pregnancy to be a fully completion.
Trimesters
• Trimesters are timeline of pregnancy that can be divided into three parts and as each part is the time of growth and development.
First Trimester
• The first trimester goes to the first three months of pregnancy and begins with the conception as soon as the ovum or egg is fertilized by the sperm.
Second Trimester
• In the second trimester the fourth, fifth, and sixth months of pregnancy begins then the fetus grows dramatically.
Third Trimester
• Once the third trimester carries the seventh, eighth , and ninth months of pregnancy the brain and other parts of the nervous system continue to develop.
Miscarriage/ Stillbirth
• Miscarriage are spontaneous losses of pregnancy no less than 20 weeks of fetal development.

Weight Gain
• When the woman is pregnant, she begins to gain weight, this happen during the first and second trimesters.
• The woman then gain weight between 25-35 pounds.
Exercise
• Pregnant women should exercise , exercise can boost up energy, combating the fatigue.
• Exercise can reduce stress and help relieve many discomforts of pregnancy.
Healthy Foods
• During pregnancy the woman must eat healthy foods for her and the baby.
• The main nutrients for the woman is carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins, minerals and water.
