• It was A.D.73; 1937 years ago.
• His name is Lucius. He is 17. He lives in Rome, in a poor neighborhood.
• He is from a rich family.
• He finished his education.• In school he learned how to
speak and write Greek and Latin and make public speeches.
• His father taught him how to swim, run and fight.
• At the age of 17, they don’t trust him do the family business, because he is too young.
• However, he will marry a 7 year-old girl from a good family.
• His father has arranged his marriage.
• They visit the museum to remember the heroes of the Roman past.
• Lucius can join the army if he wants to at the age of 17.
• They see the statues of the people who won wars.
• They tell stories about soldiers who weren’t scared in battles.
• Rome won the battles with England, Scotland, the North of the river Danube, and Syria.
• Also Lucius and his brother go to the city baths.
• There are 3 baths, one is with cold water, the second is normal water and the third is hot.
• In the afternoon, they have a family dinner.
• The servant helps them for the table and for the drinks.
• The servant gives them the food.
• In the evening they have drunk a lot.
• Lucius and his younger brother are sick and they vomit.
