The children listen to a story and the parents were given information about the library service. The children then spent time browsing the shelves and sharing books with their parents. During the visit 45 out of the 47 became members (2 were already members), they got a library card and left with a book. Thank you to all the parents that joined us and made our visits a success. If any parent/carer would like any information that is not on this newsletter or in letters sent home, please feel free to call into the office or speak to class teachers at the end of the day. We have noticed a rise in energy and sugary drinks in children’s packed lunches. As we have the ‘Health School’ award we ask that children do not bring energy drinks to school. Water is always available to all children. On Friday 5th May the old £5 note will be going out of circulation. As a result of this we are no longer accepting these notes. The school car park is for staff and TEC users only. Please do not drive into school. Thank you to all the parents currently doing this.
