We Have These Reasons to Use Outlook 2010:

1. Ribbon for Frequently Used Commands

First introduced in Microsoft Office Outlook 2007, the Ribbon is part of the Microsoft Office Fluent user interface. It is designed to help you quickly find the commands that you need to complete a task. Commands are organized in logical groups that are collected together under tabs. In Outlook 2010, the Ribbon has replaced the former menus in the main Outlook window. In addition, the Ribbon can be customized to include custom tabs that you can personalize to better match your work style.

2. Manage large volumes of e-mail with ease

Conversation View improves the tracking of e-mail conversations—reducing information overload—and helps you manage large amounts of e-mail with ease. Entire conversations can be condensed or categorized with a single click.

The new Conversation Clean Up feature is a great time-saver and space-saver, because it can delete a tidal wave of older messages from a conversation while preserving all the information. It does this by checking whether a later message contains the text of an earlier message. If it does, Outlook deletes the earlier message and retains only the later one (which contains the text from the earlier one). It's smart enough not to delete message with attachments.

3. Rules vs. Quick Steps

Create and save custom actions in a new way with Quick Steps in Outlook 2010. You can save time by creating and defining multistep tasks that you can execute with a single click, including reply and delete, move to a specific folder, create a new e-mail to assigned groups and more.

4. Make scheduling a breeze.

Conveniently and efficiently schedule appointments, share your calendar availability and manage your work schedule.

With the E-mail Calendar feature, you can send your schedule to others so they can quickly find time for your next appointment.

5. Search to easily find what you’re looking for

With Outlook 2010, you can easily sort through high volumes of data. The enhanced Search Tools provide you with ways to quickly find and manage large quantities of e-mail, calendar, and contact items.

When you click on the Search field at the top of Outlook's message list, the Ribbon displays a new tab labeled Search Tools. In the Search Tools tab, find the icon labeled Search Tools (it's the second icon from the right), click the down arrow and choose Advanced.  Find to open a dialog that lets you fine-tune your search.

6. Create e-mail messages that capture attention

When you want to save a thousand words by e-mailing a picture of a dialog box, browser screen or anything else that appears on your desktop, begin writing your message, and then easily insert the screenshot.

Dynamic graphics and picture editing tools are not just for Word and PowerPoint anymore. With Outlook 2010, you can grab your readers’ attention by using compelling visuals such as prebuilt SmartArt™ graphics, Office themes, Styles and screen prints.
