From the IMC Home page, Scroll down to Overdrive Go to the IMC Home Page, scroll down and click on OverdriveClick on Sign in (top right corner)Click on Select Library and follow the directions
Find a book by tapping on the various categories or searching for a titleTap on the book coverIf the book is available, tap on borrow (if the book is checked out, click on Place a Hold )Now tap on Read in Your Browser
A new tab opens and the file is downloaded to your browserTo Save the Book, you can bookmark the site or save the site to your home page.
Using the Overdrive AppInstructions:
1. Go the App Store and download the app to your IPhone or IPad2. Download app to your IPod or IPhone, or IPad3. You will be asked for your Apple ID and password. The app will be installed as an icon.4. Tap on the Overdrive icon5. Tap on Get Books+ (in right top corner of the window)6. Tap on Website to add your library
a. Search for South Jersey Regional Library Consortium
b. You can also search for Washington Township Public Schools – you will have to click on high school, IMC, Catalog, Overdrive.
7. Tap on the library (South Jersey Regional Library Consortium
8. Locate an ebook by clicking on the circle next to ebooks and entering a title or author. You can also browse ebooks, but make sure that the book is in an IPad format (only EPUB will work)
9. Choose your book and at the next screen, your will be asked to select your library - Washington Township Public Schools
10. Enter your user name - the same way you login at school and your password - this is your phone extension (if unsure call the IMC)
11. If the book is available, you can click on checkout (if the book isn’t available, place a hold and when available, you will automatically receive it.
12. Select 14 day checkout13. Select Download14. The first time you do this you will be prompted for a login and password from Adobe
Digital Edition Tap Sign In if you have an ID to enter your details. If you do not have an Adobe ID, tap Register at Adobe.com and follow the directions.
15. To return to the download page, tap the window icon and select Overdrive and download your book
16. You will be asked to enter your Adobe ID and then tap authorize. Now click on the icon for Safari to return to Overdrive
17. Select the title you want to download by tapping on Download18. Tap on the book to begin reading.
If the book is checked out, place a hold and you will be notified when it is available
