A chronology for the coming of Jesus by Benjamin Christen The abomination of desolation The Bible, the Word of God, says that the appearing of the abomination of desolation in the holy place will be the sign of the coming of Jesus and of the end of the world: [3] And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? ... [15] When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) ... [33] So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. (Matthew 24) [14] But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains: (Mark 13) The holy place represents christianity because christians are the temple of God, the house of God (1 Cor 3.16; 6.19; Eph 2.19-22; Heb 3.6; 1 Pet 2.5). To flee to the mountains means going to God, symbolized by the mountains (Psa 121.1-2; Mat 5.14; Rev 21.10). The prophet Daniel had predicted the emergence of the abomination of desolation at the end of times: [31] And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate. (Daniel 11) The sanctuary of strength is the temple of God, and the daily sacrifice represents the sacrifice of Jesus at the cross that gives salvation and life to his people through the gospel. The abomination of desolation is an abomination that stands in the sanctuary and that causes desolation, a spiritual desolation. Now, in the second epistle to the Thessalonians, which also talks about the time of the end and the coming of Jesus, we read: [1] Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, [2] That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. [3] Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; [4] Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. [5] Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? [6] And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.

A chronology for the coming of Jesusby Benjamin Christen

The abomination of desolation

The Bible, the Word of God, says that the appearing of the abomination of desolation in the holy place will be the sign of the coming of Jesus and of the end of the world:

[3] And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?...[15] When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) ...[33] So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. (Matthew 24)

[14] But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains: (Mark 13)

The holy place represents christianity because christians are the temple of God, the house of God (1 Cor 3.16; 6.19; Eph 2.19-22; Heb 3.6; 1 Pet 2.5). To flee to the mountains means going to God, symbolized by the mountains (Psa 121.1-2; Mat 5.14; Rev 21.10).

The prophet Daniel had predicted the emergence of the abomination of desolation at the end of times:

[31] And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate. (Daniel 11)

The sanctuary of strength is the temple of God, and the daily sacrifice represents the sacrifice of Jesus at the cross that gives salvation and life to his people through the gospel. The abomination of desolation is an abomination that stands in the sanctuary and that causes desolation, a spiritual desolation.

Now, in the second epistle to the Thessalonians, which also talks about the time of the end and the coming of Jesus, we read:

[1] Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gatheringtogether unto him,[2] That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.[3] Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a fallingaway first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;[4] Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.[5] Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?[6] And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.

Page 2: A chronology for the coming of Jesus and the end of the world

[7] For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be takenout of the way.[8] And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: (2 Thessalonians 2)

This passage learns us that a terrible event will occur in the temple of God, at the end of times, just before the day of Christ. This event is the appearing of the son of perdition. The son of perdition is in rapport with the abomination of desolation. The abomination of desolation is in reality a false gospel, a false doctrine. And this false gospel is effectively entered into the temple of God, the christianity, during the year 2011. It is brought by a group of people, professing to be christian, which announces that the spiritual judgment of God is fallen upon the world on may 21, 2011. Theypreach that God has saved all his elects before that date and that He closed the door of salvation to the world on that day. I have myself belonged to this group for two years until God give me his mercy and open my eyes. Thus they count as lost all those who have never heard or believed the gospel before may 21, 2011 (for the faith producing salvation comes from the hearing of the Word of God: Rom 10.14-17). These persons lean on "The Biblical Calendar of History", a calendar that they have established by their own understanding of the Scriptures (not by the one of the Holy Spirit) and which is therefore erroneous. For example they assert that the church age ended in 1988,which is wrong (see "The false doctrine of God's spiritual judgment...").

The Bible calls them the "son of perdition" (like Judas was called a son of perdition: Joh 17.12) for they now preach to the world the perdition since may 21, 2011. And the abomination of desolation is the false doctrine of "God's spiritual judgment" that they declare to the world since that date. Jesus talked about this time of the end as being a time of great tribulation, affliction:

[21] For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.[22] And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. (Matthew 24)

[19] For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.[20] And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect'ssake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days. (Mark 13)

Unfortunately these people believe a lie that they believe to be the truth (2 The 2.11). And their straying is not surprising for they don't know the true gospel (2 The 2.10), the true meaning of the work of the cross.

The Word of God teaches that the gospel of salvation (the word "gospel", from the greek "Euaggelion" means "good tidings") will be announced until the end of the world, that is to say untilGod's judgment on the last day (see "The false doctrine of God's spiritual judgment..."). It says that Jesus is not come to judge and condemn the world, but to save it.

[47] And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. [48] He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. (John 12)

[17] For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (John 3)

Page 3: A chronology for the coming of Jesus and the end of the world

[36] Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.[37] Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: [38] Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. (Luke 6)

[1] Judge not, that ye be not judged.[2] For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. (Matthew 7)

[8] If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well: ...[13] For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment. (James 2)

In the verse 4 of 2 Thessalonians 2, we read that the son of perdition opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshipped, that is to say above God and his Word, which are one (Joh 1.1). We also read that he sits in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. In reality, by condemning falsely the world in the name of God, it is as if he took the place of God:

[12] There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another? (James 4)

The appearing of the son of perdition took place with all power by great signs and wonders, as that was prophecied in the Bible:

[9] Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, (2 Thessalonians 2)

[24] For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. (Matthew 24)

[22] For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, ifit were possible, even the elect.[23] But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things. (Mark 13)

This great signs were all the billboards they placed in the world before may 21, 2011, and this wonders are the establishment of their false biblical calendar.

A calendar that seems very elaborated and that can prove to be very seductive to the persons who don't know the true gospel, who are not led by the Holy Spirit.

[10] And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.[11] And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:[12] That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (2 Thessalonians 2)

The comet "ISON"

The comet ISON (C/2012 S1) was discovered on september 21, 2012 by two astronomers of the International Scientific Optical Network (ISON) based in Russia. This comet got an important media coverage during the year 2013, especially in astronomical community, for it was announced as being potentially the "comet of the century".

Page 8: A chronology for the coming of Jesus and the end of the world

In terms of prestige, the comet ISON was compared to the great comet of 1680, if however it survived to its perihelion (passage to the nearest of the sun during his rotation around it) on november 28, 2013. It was announced that if it survived, it could potentially bring a great show in sky through december 2013 and january 2014, similar to that of the great comet of 1680, visible to naked eye in broad daylight and more brighter than the full moon.

Great comet of 1680

Page 9: A chronology for the coming of Jesus and the end of the world

But ISON broke up under the effect of the great heat of the sun on november 28. Nevertheless, it stupefied the astronomers of the whole world and let them some sumptuous shots during this month. Here are some of them:

ISON - November 12, 2013

ISON - November 15, 2013

ISON - November 16, 2013

ISON - November 21, 2013

Page 11: A chronology for the coming of Jesus and the end of the world

It was also observable to the naked eye early the morning in some parts of the world from november 14:

ISON - November 14, 2013 (http://blog.cajunastro.com/?p=1476)

Now, why did God send this comet "ISON" at the end of the year 2013, whose name means "I the Son", in a world that has reached the tops of sin since several years (Mat 24.12; 2 Tim 3.1-5) and in which the abomination of desolation (the sign of the end of the world) is revealed since may 21, 2011? Because the comet ISON announced the imminent coming of the Son of God. In the same manner as about 2000 years ago, at the birth of Jesus (his first coming in the world), a star appearedin the sky to lead unto Him wise men come from the east.

[1] Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,[2] Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.[3] When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.[4] And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born.[5] And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet,[6] And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.[7] Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, inquired of them diligently what time the star appeared.[8] And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also.[9] When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.

Page 12: A chronology for the coming of Jesus and the end of the world

[10] When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.[11] And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.[12] And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way. (Matthew 2)

[1] The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. (Psalm 19)

As a thief in the night

Then, in the month of february 2014, released the video game "Thief" on new generation games console.

You are perhaps wondering what a video game has to do with biblical prophecy. But the first epistleto the Thessalonians gives us a parable concerning the last day and the coming of Jesus. The parableof the thief in the night:

[1] But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. [2] For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.[3] For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.[4] But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.[5] Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. (1 Thessalonians 5)

The second epistle of Peter also gives us this parable:

[9] The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsufferingto us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.[10] But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. (2 Peter 3)

God also mentions it in the book of Revelation:

[3] Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. (Revelation 3)

[15] Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments ("the whole armour of God", which is Christ: Gal 3.27; Eph 6.11-17), lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. (Revelation 16)

Page 13: A chronology for the coming of Jesus and the end of the world

Now, let's take a look at this video game. Here is the jacket:

Here are now some screenshots from the site of the game (http://www.thiefgame.com/):

Page 15: A chronology for the coming of Jesus and the end of the world
Page 16: A chronology for the coming of Jesus and the end of the world

Interesting detail, the hiding place of the "Master Thief" is called the "Clock Tower".

Do you see all this strange similitudes with the parable of the thief in the night? That is just incredible! This video game "Thief" has a great prophetic meaning. It underlines the imminence of the coming of Jesus, coming as a thief in the night upon this world.

[20] Despise not prophesyings.[21] Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. (1 Thessalonians 5)

Page 17: A chronology for the coming of Jesus and the end of the world

Though this video game come from the sinful nature of man, nevertheless God, as creator of all things, controls all the purposes of men for He fashions their heart to all.

[13] The LORD looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men.[14] From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth.[15] He fashioneth their hearts alike; he considereth all their works. (Psalms 33)

[9] A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps. (Proverbs 16)

[35] And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou? (Daniel 4)

God creates light and darkness, though there is no darkness in Him (1 Joh 1.5).

[5] I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:[6] That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. Iam the LORD, and there is none else.[7] I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace (God saving his people by the gospel: Rom 5.1; 10.15; 2 Cor 5.18-20; Eph 6.15), and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.[8] Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the LORD havecreated it. (Isaiah 45)

Page 18: A chronology for the coming of Jesus and the end of the world

As it was in the days of Noe

Some days later, in the month of march, began to release the american movie "Noah" in movie theaters of the whole world.

Is the coming of Jesus at the end of the world tied to what happened in the time of Noah? Let's see what the Bible says:

[37] But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.[38] For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,[39] And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Sonof man be. (Matthew 24)

[26] And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.[27] They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

Page 19: A chronology for the coming of Jesus and the end of the world

[28] Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, theyplanted, they builded;[29] But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.[30] Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. (Luke 17)

[3] Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,[4] And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.[5] For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:[6] Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:[7] But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved untofire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. (2 Peter 3)

Through this passages we can notice that the Bible establishs an astonishing comparison between this two events. The flood of Noah is a picture of the end of the world and return of Jesus.

Here is an extract from the account of the flood:

[1] And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.[2] Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female.[3] Of fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth.[4] For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth.[5] And Noah did according unto all that the LORD commanded him.[6] And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth.[7] And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood.[8] Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of fowls, and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth,[9] There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah.[10] And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth.[11] In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.[12] And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights.[13] In the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, andNoah's wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark;[14] They, and every beast after his kind, and all the cattle after their kind, and every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind, and every fowl after his kind, every bird of every sort.[15] And they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein is the breath of life.[16] And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the LORD shut him in. (Genesis 7)

God sent the rain on the seventeenth day of the second month, in the six hundredth year of Noah's life (verses 11 & 12).

Page 20: A chronology for the coming of Jesus and the end of the world

At the time of the Old Testament, God gave to his people, who was the jewish nation, a calendar. This calendar still exists today. This is the hebrew calendar, of the Israel's nation.

[2] This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you. (Exodus 12)

Intrigued by this prophetic and current events, I looked at what day would be this year the seventeenth day of the second month of the hebrew calendar in our gregorian calendar:

That day also falls on a 17 in our calendar. That is quite rare and occurs about three times by century. But this is not the most important here.

Now, if we add the number of the jewish year in which we are (5774) to the number of the gregorian year in which we are (2014), we find the number 7788.

Page 21: A chronology for the coming of Jesus and the end of the world

7788

To fall on this number now, in the time of the end in which we are, is extraordinary. This number has a great spiritual meaning. Indeed, in the Bible, digits and numbers have a spiritual meaning.

• The digit 7 represents God's perfection or the perfect fulfillment of his will:

- The seven days of the creation (Genesis 1 & 2)- The flood of Noah coming after seven days (Gen 7.4, 10)- The city of Jericho taken by the Israelites after seven days and seven turns around the city on the seventh day (Joshua 6; Heb 11.30)- The cloud of rain coming at the seventh time in the time of Elijah (1 Kin 18.41-45)- The healing of Naaman the leper after dipping himself seven times in the Jordan (2 Kin 5.10, 14)- The Word of God purified seven times (Psa 12.6)- The seven pillars of the wisdom (Pro 9.1)- The seven falls of the just man (Pro 24.16)- The beast's heart given to the king Nebuchadnezzar for seven times (Daniel 4)- Seven nations destroyed by the Israelites in the land of Canaan (Act 13.19)- The digit seven repeated all along the book of Revelation

• The digit 8 represents salvation:

- Eight persons in the ark of Noah (Gen 7.13; 1 Pet 3.20; 2 Pet 2.5)- The jewish circumcision on the eight day (Gen 17.10-13; 21.4; Lev 12.3; Luk 1.59; 2.21; Act 7.8; Phi 3.5): figure of the salvation, of the heart's circumcision (Rom 2.28-29; 4.11-12; Gal 6.15; Col 2.11)

We find this digits in the second epistle of Peter and in the epistle of Jude, in two chapters that contain very numerous similarities (the fallen angels, the day of judgment mentioned two times, the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrha, the prophet Balaam) and which talk about the coming of Jesusat the end of the world.

[4] For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; [5] And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;...[9] The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished: (2 Peter 2)

[6] And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved ineverlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day....[14] And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,[15] To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodlysinners have spoken against him. (Jude 1)

Noah and his family were eight persons in the ark. But the Word of God calls Noah the "eighth" person in order to connect him to Enoch, the seventh from Adam (Gen 5.18).

Page 22: A chronology for the coming of Jesus and the end of the world

Through this two very similar chapters, we can see how God uses the association of the digits 7 and8 in the context of the coming of Jesus at the end of the world. We are going to see that we find again this association in other places of the Bible, in the same context.

Agricultural feasts

Among the annual and solemn feasts of the Israel of the Old Testament, there were three main feasts:

[14] Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto me in the year.[15] Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread: (thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt:and none shall appear before me empty:)[16] And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field. (Exodus 23)

There was:

• The feast of unleavened bread, which lasted seven days.

• The feast of harvest of the firstfruits called the "feast of weeks" (Exo 34.22; Deu 16.16) or "Pentecost" in the New Testament (Act 2.1), which lasted one day (Lev 23.21; Nom 28.26).

• The feast of ingathering, at the end of the year.

The New Testament learns us that the jewish feasts of the Old Testament represented a symbolic aspect of the God's salvation plan revealed in the new covenant of the New Testament and manifested by the work of the Lord Jesus. The days of feast of the Old Testament were a shadow of things to come:

[16] Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:[17] Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ. (Colossians 2)

This is why Jesus was crucified on the first day of the feast of unleavened bread, called the "Passover" (Mat 26.2, 17; Mar 14.1, 12; Luk 22.1, 7), and that the disciples received the Holy Spiriton the feast day of Pentecost (Act 2.1-4). That was the beginning of the church age and this is why it is written that God's elects have received the "firstfruits of the Spirit":

[23] And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselvesgroan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. (Romans 8)

Symbolically this feast of Pentecost represents the salvation of the spirit of the child of God, when this one receives the Holy Spirit.

Then, in the Bible, the end of the world is called "the harvest" (Mat 13.24-30, 36-43; Rev 14.14-20; Joe 3.12-16). Symbolically and spiritually, this harvest of the end of the world is represented by the "feast of ingathering", which took place at the end of the year:

[16] And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out

Page 23: A chronology for the coming of Jesus and the end of the world

of the field. (Exodus 23)

The word "ingathering" is a reference to the gathering of God's elects in the sky that will take place at the last day, at the coming of Jesus (Mat 24.30-31; Mar 13.26-27; 1 The 4.15-17).

The Bible also calls the feast of ingathering the "feast of tabernacles":

[16] Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the LORD empty: (Deuteronomy 16)

[13] Thou shalt observe the feast of tabernacles seven days, after that thou hast gathered in thy corn and thy wine: (Deuteronomy 16)

[34] Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the LORD.[35] On the first day shall be an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.[36] Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein....[39] Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, yeshall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath.[40] And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God seven days.[41] And ye shall keep it a feast unto the LORD seven days in the year. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month.[42] Ye shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths:[43] That your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.[44] And Moses declared unto the children of Israel the feasts of the LORD. (Leviticus 23)

[12] And on the fifteenth day of the seventh month ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do noservile work, and ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days:[13] And ye shall offer a burnt offering, a sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD; thirteen young bullocks, two rams, and fourteen lambs of the first year; they shall be without blemish:...[35] On the eighth day ye shall have a solemn assembly: ye shall do no servile work therein:[36] But ye shall offer a burnt offering, a sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD: one bullock, one ram, seven lambs of the first year without blemish: (Numbers 29)

[17] And all the congregation of them that were come again out of the captivity made booths, and sat under the booths: for since the days of Jeshua the son of Nun unto that day had not the children of Israel done so. And there was very great gladness.[18] Also day by day, from the first day unto the last day, he read in the book of the law of God. Andthey kept the feast seven days; and on the eighth day was a solemn assembly, according unto the manner. (Nehemiah 8)

The feast of tabernacles was celebrated from the fifteenth day of the seventh month and lasted seven

Page 24: A chronology for the coming of Jesus and the end of the world

days. It was followed by an eighth day as being a day of solemn assembly. So we can say that the feast of tabernacles lasted eight days. It was the only feast of the Old Testament with a duration of eight days. The name of the feast is due to the forty years' sojourn of the hebrew people in the wilderness when they lived in booths (tabernacles), after their period of slavery in the land of Egyptand before entering into the promise land of Israel. But symbolically and spiritually, this booths represent the carnal and mortal body of God's elects that will be transformed into incorruptible and celestial body at the last day:

[1] For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. [2] For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:[3] If so be that being clothed (of "the whole armour of God") we shall not be found naked.[4] For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life. (2 Corinthians 5)

[13] Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance;[14] Knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me. (2 Peter 1)

[40] There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. ...[49] And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.[50] Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. [51] Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,[52] In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.[53] For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. [54] So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. (1 Corinthians 15)

In conclusion, the feast of ingathering, which is also called the feast of tabernacles, symbolizes the perfect fulfillment of the salvation in God's child life, when this one will receive the redemption of his body at the last day of the world. This is why we find the association of the digits 7 and 8 in this feast.

The dedication of the house of the Lord

At the time of the Old Testament, the king Solomon built a temple for God. This temple was a figure of God's temple of the new covenant, that are God's elects (1 Cor 3.16; 6.19; Eph 2.19-22; Heb 3.6; 1 Pet 2.5). The temple was finished in the eighth month, after seven years:

[1] And it came to pass in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon's reign over Israel, in the month Zif, which is the second month, that he began to build the house of the LORD. ...[37] In the fourth year was the foundation of the house of the LORD laid, in the month Zif:[38] And in the eleventh year, in the month Bul, which is the eighth month, was the house

Page 25: A chronology for the coming of Jesus and the end of the world

finished throughout all the parts thereof, and according to all the fashion of it. So was he seven years in building it. (1 Kings 6)

The completion of the temple, like the feast of tabernacles, is a figure of the completion of God's salvation work at the end of the world, when all God's elects will have been saved and will put on their new bodies. It's why we find again the association of the digits 7 and 8 in this event.

Then, in the second book of Chronicles, we read that Solomon and the people made the dedication (consecration) of the temple during the feast of tabernacles:

[1] Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the house.[2] And the priests could not enter into the house of the LORD, because the glory of the LORD had filled the LORD's house.[3] And when all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the LORD upon the house, they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and worshipped, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.[4] Then the king and all the people offered sacrifices before the LORD. [5] And king Solomon offered a sacrifice of twenty and two thousand oxen, and an hundred and twenty thousand sheep: so the king and all the people dedicated the house of God.[6] And the priests waited on their offices: the Levites also with instruments of musick of the LORD,which David the king had made to praise the LORD, because his mercy endureth for ever, when David praised by their ministry; and the priests sounded trumpets before them, and all Israel stood.[7] Moreover Solomon hallowed the middle of the court that was before the house of the LORD: forthere he offered burnt offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings, because the brasen altar which Solomon had made was not able to receive the burnt offerings, and the meat offerings, and the fat.[8] Also at the same time Solomon kept the feast seven days, and all Israel with him, a very great congregation, from the entering in of Hamath unto the river of Egypt.[9] And in the eighth day they made a solemn assembly: for they kept the dedication of the altar seven days, and the feast seven days.[10] And on the three and twentieth day of the seventh month he sent the people away into their tents, glad and merry in heart for the goodness that the LORD had shewed unto David, and to Solomon, and to Israel his people. (2 Chronicles 7)

And in the first book of Kings, that also relates this event, we read that the feast didn't last seven days as usually, but two times seven days, that is fourteen days:

[62] And the king, and all Israel with him, offered sacrifice before the LORD. [63] And Solomon offered a sacrifice of peace offerings, which he offered unto the LORD, two and twenty thousand oxen, and an hundred and twenty thousand sheep. So the king and all the childrenof Israel dedicated the house of the LORD.[64] The same day did the king hallow the middle of the court that was before the house of the LORD: for there he offered burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings: because the brasen altar that was before the LORD was too little to receive the burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings.[65] And at that time Solomon held a feast, and all Israel with him, a great congregation, from the entering in of Hamath unto the river of Egypt, before the LORD our God, seven days and seven days, even fourteen days.[66] On the eighth day he sent the people away: and they blessed the king, and went unto their tents joyful and glad of heart for all the goodness that the LORD had done for David his servant, and for Israel his people. (1 Kings 8)

Page 26: A chronology for the coming of Jesus and the end of the world

That means the feast didn't begin on the fifteen day of the seventh month, but seven days earlier, on the eighth day of the month. Then, at the end of the feast, the solemn assembly of the eighth day was held on the twenty-second day of the month, before the king Solomon send the people away on the twenty-third day (2 Chr 7.9-10). But in 1 Kings 8.66, we read that God also calls the twenty-third day of the month the "eighth day"! That is incredible! We get so the following model for the dedication of the house of the Lord:

Seven days of feast + seven days of feast + two eighth days

Does this remind you anything? 7788

Enoch, the seventh from Adam

In the chapter 5 of Genesis is found the posterity of Adam until the flood. There we can find a mention about the end of life of all the characters, except for Noah and his three sons because the account of the flood begins in the following chapter. But regarding the end of life of Enoch, we readsomething very particular that doesn't correspond to the model established in this chapter for the other characters. For them we find the mention "and he died", repeated all along the chapter. But forEnoch we read:

[18] And Jared lived an hundred sixty and two years, and he begat Enoch:[19] And Jared lived after he begat Enoch eight hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:[20] And all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years: and he died.[21] And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah:[22] And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:[23] And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:[24] And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him. (Genesis 5)

Enoch got a special end of life. He didn't die physically for he was taken by God (Heb 11.5). He walked with God, and he was not, for God took him.

[5] By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. (Hebrews 11)

Enoch symbolizes the true believers living at the end of the world. Like Enoch they won't die physically and will be caught up in the sky during the coming of the Lord Jesus.

[27] For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.[28] Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom. (Matthew 16)

[51] Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,[52] In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. (1 Corinthiens 15)

[15] For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.[16] For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Page 27: A chronology for the coming of Jesus and the end of the world

[17] Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.[18] Wherefore comfort one another with these words. (1 Thessalonians 4)

The spiritual meaning of the 7788

The spiritual meaning of the 7788 is the return of Jesus at the end of the world. It represents the perfect fulfillment (digit 7) of God's salvation plan (digit 8). This perfect fulfillment will occur at the last day of the world when Jesus will come back and that his elects will receive their immortal bodies and will inherit new heavens and a new earth (Mat 25.34; 2 Pet 3.13; Isa 65.17-19; Rev 21.1-5).

[28] So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. (Hebrews 9)

[34] Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: (Matthew 25)

[13] Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. (2 Peter 3)

The times and the seasons

The Bible tells that God's children will know the times and the seasons of the coming of Jesus, spiritually called "the hour" or "the watch":

[1] But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.[2] For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.[3] For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.[4] But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. [5] Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.[6] Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.[7] For they that sleep (spiritual sleep: 1 Cor 15.34; Eph 5.14) sleep in the night; and they that be drunken (spiritual drunkenness: Isa 28.7; 29.9-10) are drunken in the night.[8] But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. (1 Thessalonians 5)

[42] Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. [43] But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.[44] Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. (Matthew 24)

[33] Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.[34] For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.[35] Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:

Page 28: A chronology for the coming of Jesus and the end of the world

[36] Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.[37] And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch. (Mark 13)

[36] And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding;that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.[37] Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.[38] And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessedare those servants. [39] And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, hewould have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through.[40] Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not. (Luke 12)

[3] (...) If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. (Revelation 3)

The times and the seasons represent a period of time. To watch means being vigilant about the spiritual things (the gospel: 1 Cor 16.13), and so also about the moment of the return of Jesus (to discern the signs of times: Mat 16.2-3). Jesus comes back as a thief in the night on this world. The world won't be aware of his coming. But Jesus won't come as a thief in the night for his people. His people will know the time of his coming, by the revelation of the Holy Spirit in them through the holy scriptures. If you are born of God, then you are watching and you will know the time of the coming of Jesus.

The period of the 7788 extends from january 1st to september 24, 2014 because september 24, 2014 is the last day of the jewish year 5774.

The 7788 is the time of the coming of Jesus. It is midnight at the divine clock.

[1] Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.[2] And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.[3] They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:[4] But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.[5] While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.[6] And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.[7] Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.[8] And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.[9] But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.[10] And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. (Matthew 25)

[1] Cast thy bread (the Word of God, Jesus: Mat 4.4; Joh 1.1, 14; 6.48-51) upon the waters (the world: Rev 17.15): for thou shalt find it after many days.[2] Give a portion to seven, and also to eight; for thou knowest not what evil shall be upon the earth. [3] If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth: and if the tree fall toward thesouth, or toward the north, in the place where the tree falleth, there it shall be. (Ecclesiastes 11)

[31] Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that

man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead. (Acts 17)

[1] Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand; (Joel 2)

[29] Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:[30] And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.[31] And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. (Matthew 24)

[12] Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about.[13] Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great.[14] Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.[15] The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.[16] The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel. (Joel 3)

Glory to God.
