While many familiar emphases and events will be impossible due to the ongoing pandemic and its health restrictions, we will use these weeks to call one another to a deeper walk with God, with one another, and with the creation around us. Current health regulations have made it difficult for us to meet each week for worship, learning and community. We’ll keep streaming services, and offering in-person outdoor worship in the Courtyard. Communion: Virtual & In-Person “Nothing in all creaon can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:39). To more fully share the mercy and forgiveness of the Eucharist, we invite people on our livestreams to prepare bread and cup at home, and join us in Communion recepon. We ask for God’s blessings on this provisional expansion of our Communion pracces during the pandemic period. The Navajo Mission Relief Fund, iniated due to the cancellaon of the Navajo Yard Sale, has raised over $13,000 to support our partners in Rock Point AZ, where the Covid crisis has struck especially hard. Ministry in uncertain mes: Although the pandemic has changed our lives, this church school community is commied to pursuing excellence through our congregaonal life and mission, especially through offering weekday child care and educaon for children from infancy through 8th Grade. School plans will be released in the coming days, and congregaon groups are forming ministry plans for the Fall.
