from the time my mother conceived me.

wicked will be charged against him. [Jeremiah

An Age Of Not Yet

Knowing Good From Bad

• Rom 7:9 Once I was alive apart from law; but when the commandment came, sin sprang to life and I died.

• Deut 1:39 And the little ones that you said would be taken captive, your children who do not yet know good from bad--they will enter the land. I will give it to them and they will take possession of it.

• Num 14:29 In this desert your bodies will fall--every one of you twenty years old or more who was counted in the census and who has grumbled against me.

• Josh 5:4 Now this is why he did so: All those who came out of Egypt-all the men of military age-died in the desert on the way after leaving Egypt.

Accountable Or Able To Understand

• NAU Nehemiah 10:28 Now the rest of the people, the priests, the Levites, the gatekeepers, the singers, the temple servants and all those who had separated themselves from the peoples of the lands to the law of God, their wives, their sons and their daughters, all those who had knowledge and understanding,

• Ex 30:13-15 …14 All who cross over, those twenty years old or more, are to give an offering to the LORD… 15 “…to make atonement for yourselves….

Page 13: A Biblical Age Of Accountability?

Romans Chapter 5 Is A Must

Read• NAU Romans 5:12-13; 12 Therefore, just as

through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned— 13 for until the Law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law.

Page 14: A Biblical Age Of Accountability?

God Freely Gives Justification

• NAU Romans 8:31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? 33 Who will bring a charge against God's elect? God is the one who justifies; 34 who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us.

Page 15: A Biblical Age Of Accountability?

God Freely Gives Justification

• NAU Romans 9:20 On the contrary, who are you, O man, who answers back to God? The thing molded will not say to the molder, "Why did you make me like this," will it?

• Romans 14:4, James 4:12

Page 16: A Biblical Age Of Accountability?

We Are Not The Judge

• Ezek 18:23 Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked? declares the Sovereign LORD. Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from their ways and live?

• 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is ….not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

• NAU Psalm 58:3 The wicked are estranged from the womb; These who speak lies go astray from birth. [Romans 14:4, James 4:12]

Page 17: A Biblical Age Of Accountability?

God Is Gracious And Merciful

• NAU Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;

• God can bestow that gift according to His righteousness, and His righteousness is not tarnished if He counts the sins, sinfulness, and sin nature of these “little ones” as paid in full by the sacrifice of His Son. If He paid the fine, who are we to say He is not being just or fair?

Where does that leave us now?

NAU Acts 17:28 for in Him we live and move and exist, as even some of your own poets have said, 'For we also are His children.' 29 "Being then the children of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone, an image formed by the art and thought of man. 30 "Therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now declaring to men that all people everywhere should repent, 31 because He has fixed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness through a Man whom He has appointed, having furnished proof to all men by raising Him from the dead."

19

Where does that leave us now?

Matthew 28:19 …”go there for and make disciples of all the nations…” Proverbs 22:6 …give instruction to her youth about his way, even when he is old he will turneth not from it.”

God’s “unspeakable gift”.

• NAU John 5:24 "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.

• NAU Galatians 4:4-6 But when the fulness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law, in order that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, "Abba! Father!"

• NIV John 1:12 Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God”

• [also Romans 3:23, 5:8, 6:23, 10:9-13, Eph 2:8-9, John 1:14, ]

Page 22: A Biblical Age Of Accountability?

Where does that leave us now?

1John 4:16 …God is love.…

Remember what Jesus said in Mark 10:14 “…Permit the children to come to Me; do not hinder them; for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”
