A Basic Concept Story By:

VICTORIA’S VALENTINE

Victoria was excited to go to school. Today was Valentine’s Day. She had made valentine’s cards for each of her friends.

On her way to school Victoria walked over a bridge and under some tree branches, that were heavy with snow.

In the classroom, Victoria put her valentine’s cards up on a shelf and set her backpack down on the floor, at her desk.

Later, when the students started passing out their cards, Victoria noticed that some of her friends had put her name on the top of the cards and some were on the bottom.

Victoria had more cards leftover and noticed that one of her friends, Kari, had less cards than everyone else. Victoria gave some of her extra valentines to Kari. Kari was very happy to have more valentines.

Victoria was happy to share all of her valentine's with her friends. She was excited to make more valentine’s card for next year.
