A Prayer for AugustJesus, Teacher and Lord, help me prepare the soil

for the planting of the seeds of the Gospel of faith, love,

and truth.

Help me see the children and families I serve

as seeds waiting to be tended with your love,

watered with your Good News, and given the room to grow as your disciples on Earth.

Inspire me to welcome this new catechetical year with a heart full of hope,

encouraged by your Holy Spirit to proclaim the Word with joy

and to trust in the great harvest you will help to grow.
