A pri- vate dinner followed at The Top of the World revolving restaurant in the Stratos- phere Casino and Hotel. The bride is the daugh- ter of Janice Cox (the late David) of Edgewood, Ill. Parents of the groom are Bert W. and Nedra Beal of Armada. The bride wore an ivory silk, strapless gown with 18 pearl buttons and a long-beaded sash. She car- ried a bouquet of fresh daisies hand-tied with an ivory satin ribbon and a special handkerchief belonging to her grand- mother, Oma Higgs. The ivory veil and pearl neck- lace were borrowed from a friend. The groom wore a char- coal gray suit with a blue silk tie and handkerchief. He carried a special coin of the couple in his pocket. Dean and Jenny McKin- ney of Iola, Ill., served as matron of honor and best man. The bride is a 1990 graduate of Effingham High School in Effingham, Ill., and a 1991 graduate of Lake Land College in Mat- toon, Ill. She is an execu- tive assistant to the CEO at ITC Holdings, Corp. in Novi. The groom is a 1986 graduate of Romeo High School and a general fore- man over transmission construction for Hydaker- Wheatlake, Co., currently working in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
