Pic-N-Place Case Packer
The Standard-Knapp Pic-N-Place Tandem CasePacker offers field-proven reliability and is the perfect solution for bothpartitioned and partitionless case packing. The Pic-N-Place uses adjustable, heavy-duty grippers to pick up and gently place two packs of product completely into thebottom of every case. This proprietary technology eliminates breakage and is capable of speedsup to 20 cycles per minute. Standard-Knapp also offers single case capability and packs to the lastcase without the need for any operator intervention.
The Pic-N-Place Tandem Case Packer – The robust solution for gentle, high-volume product handling.
Empty cases are indexedbeneath the flap opener,which opens each case’sleading flap.
Gripper head lowers to “Pic” product, then quickly andgently lowers product into two cases.
Product is then countedand transferred intoposition where the gripperhead will “Pic” enoughproduct to fill two cases.
Cases are brieflyseparated to allow minorflaps between the cases tobe positioned downward.The two cases are thenindexed onto the lift tableand raised into position.
The gripper head returns to the productinfeed, ready to grab the next group ofproduct as the full cases aredischarged. Then two new cases moveonto the table.
Robust 2-axis, servo-controlled delta robotprovides optimumcontrol of two casesof product.
Adjustable head adapts to multiple product sizes.
