List all of the rules you can think of as to how to make a noun plural in English and give an example of each.

Inductive Learning

What is inductive learning? When you are given a group of things and you are

asked to sort them out in some logical way Then define (give rules) how those things are the

same. Then you test your idea by looking at other

examples to see if it is still true.


Instrucciones

Write your definitions (rules) on a sheet of paper as you discover them.

Once you think you have a definition, write your own example of how each definition works.

I’ll give you a hint. There are four definitions. You may not use your book. It doesn’t have

all of the definitions anyway.


Follow up instructions

At the bottom of your paper, briefly describe how you and your partner figured out your definitions.


Conclusions

What do you think the definitions are? Give the class an example. How did you arrive at your conclusion?
