Event Description

This event was birthed out of VFW Ladies Auxiliary member, Linda Cerasale. Her husband, Richard, is a retired firefighter and two of her sons are currently serving as

well; one in Rogers, one in Bentonville.

She brought the vision to the Auxiliary meeting in January 2011 and asked for help to fulfill her dream.

I became the Co-Chairman/ Project Director for the 9/11 Remembrance Service.

The first meeting was held January 17th, 2011.

Linda’s vision was two ladder trucks with ladders extended as the backdrop for the speakers, dove release, and a choir singing. Echo taps would play as a finale.

We got started!

National Ghost Riders Association, Legacy Vets Motorcycle Club, Vietnam Vets Motorcycle Club- Chapter C of Arkansas rode the Colors in as well as

the 9/11 Flag.
