6 th January , 2009 : Gujarat Solar Policy announcement

15 th January, 2009 : MoU signed with 44 companies

18–19 th February, 2009 : One to One meeting and presentation by 59 Solar 

Power Project developers to Project approval committee

13 th March, 2009 : Meeting of 74 developers / manufactures / investors

under Chairmanship of Chief Secretary along with PSEnergy, Finance and Revenue departments

1 st August , 2009 : Issued Letter of Intention to 34 companies for 716 MW after 

due diligence of technical and financial capacity

7 th September, 2009 : Sign MoU with Clinton Foundation for setting up 3000 MW

Solar Power Project in Gujarat

9–10 th September,2009 : One to One discussion with 34 companies to evaluate

preparedness for setting up the power project

1. Signed MoU with Clinton Climate Initiative for setting up of various sizeof large scale Solar Power Parks of total 3000 MW capacity to makeSolar power competitive with conventional fossil fuels within the nearfuture.
