The 9 Lines
Horseback Riding Adventure at Cloud 9 Ranch
Page 2 The 9 Lines
Name the Colt
If you have not done so yet, take the
time to stop by the Stables and visit
the new foal. C9R needs your help in
finding the perfect name for our
newest edition. If you would like to
submit a name for the foal you can
do so at the Ranch Office. Each
name submitted will be 50 cents.
Proceeds for the name selection goes
to the C9R Volunteer Fire
Department and First Responder
Programs. The name will be selected
at the end of the summer.
Continued from Front Page (Horseback Riding at
Cloud 9 Ranch)
The adventure begins at 11:30am at the
C9R stables. Cowboys and Cowgirls will
be introduced to their faithful mount and
the ride will begin through some of the
most spectacular parts of the Ozarks. At
around 5pm the group will return to the
Ranch Stables where you will be able to
pitch your tent. All weather tents will
make your stay enjoyable no matter what
Mother Nature decides to bring. The
range cooks will prepare a Cowboy
Cookout for the trail ride participants.
The evening will include campfire stories,
and perhaps a cowboy song or two. You
are welcome to bring your singing voice
and a guitar if you like.
On Sunday morning you will start your
day off with coffee (of course) and a
Cowboy Breakfast that is to die for. After
that it is back into the saddle for another
four hour morning ride. This could be the
best experience of your life…..and
certainly one you will never forget!
The Registration Form provides 2
options. Please complete and return as
soon as possible to the Ranch Office.

Isle of the Ozarks Saturday -September 3rd Working Together Makes It Work
Want to have a chance to really get dirty? This is it! Cloud
9 Ranch will be holding a Mud Bog on August 27th. This
is a timed event where participants compete to have the
best time going through our 100 foot mud pit! 50/50 on
prize money from entry fees, 4 classes to compete,
moving start, larger spectator area and improved pit!
Who will get thrown in the mud pit this time??
At our last Mud Bog, Director Kadye Ward agreed to be
thrown in the mud pit if $500 was raised for the C9VFD.
The money was raised ($528 in fact) and some ―friends‖
threw her in for the cause. Members are asking if anyone
will GO IN THE MUD PIT this time and raise even more
money for the C9VFD? WILL YOU BE NEXT?? If
you know someone you will, please contact Stephanie
Harrison at the Ranch Office 417-284-7321.

Someone once said—
‖There comes a time in your life
when you walk away from all the
drama and selfish people who create
it. You surround yourself with
people that are always there for you
and make you laugh. Forget the bad,
and focus on the good. Love the
people who treat you right, pray for
the ones who don’t. Life is too short
to be anything but happy.
Falling down is a part of life, getting
back up is living.‖

they come in and find out that is also has a
Holiday Room, Book Room, New Item Room

Craft House has a Flea Market Room like to go
and roam through it to see if they can find
anything for themselves.
All members of Cloud 9 Ranch may sell items
through the Craft House, just check with the
Craft House to find out the procedures. We
welcome sales from crafters.
The Craft House still has tables available for the
Labor Day Flea Market, just check at the Craft
House if you would like to reserve a table.
We will be having a bag sale starting Friday,

put into a bag from a selection of certain items
will only be $2.00 each. The sale will continue
