1) Written test which may include multiple choices and essay questions, analysis and reasonable solutions to a problem
2) Practical test to demonstrate basic skills in ICT and Technical Term needs in the Unit Operation
3) Observation of an individual performance in group interaction, using information, communication, applications of knowledge and skills
4) Hands-on analysis of information to demonstrate ability in problem solving

This unit should be assessed according to performance criteria as required in PPM5/4-1, and PPM5/4-2. It must also be undertaken in either an actual workplace or under a simulated work environment. However, various assessment procedures can be carried out as the following

2. Safety data sheet and environmental compliance documentation is complete per local, national standards and the Globally Harmonized System Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS)
- Complete five units of Technical Core Competency (1)
- Complete a Technician Diploma in Electricity, Electronics or any Other Related Program or complete a Vocational Certificate in those programs with 2 years experiences in Petroleum/Petrochemical or related industry
