Client:

A greenfield fertilizer manufacturing complex, specializes in producing and

distributing nitrogen-based inputs, methanol, melamine, and diesel exhaust fluid

for agricultural and industrial applications worldwide.

Challenge:

The client has been leveraging the benefits of SAP ECC 6.0 EHP 7, running on IBM

DB2, hosted at a data center in the Netherlands. The company decided to migrate

the SAP application landscape to AWS in the US region and upgrade the

underlying database to SAP HANA (Suite on HANA). The client wanted to carve

out a niche for the US business data within the SAP data ecosystem and rebuild all

the critical third-party interfaces post-migration to the AWS cloud.

Solution:

RHEL 6.0, IBM DB2 source to the SAP ECC EHP7 on RHEL 7.2, with HANA 1.0
