1.1. ATISD-ATIS Arrival 118.275D-ATIS Departure 136.125
1.2. LOW VISIBILITY PROCEDURES (LVP)Low visibility operations
are categorized in two phases (A and B) that are basedon RVR values
and cloud base. Phase A is a reduced visibility operation and
prep-aration period for LVP. Phase B is a low visibility
procedure.
1.2.1. CAT II OPERATIONSRWY 36R, approved for CAT II operation
and subject to serviceability of therequired facilities, is
suitable for CAT II operations by operators whose minimahave been
formally approved by relevant Civil Aviation Authority.For CAT II
operation special aircrew and ACFT certification required.During
CAT II operation, special ATC procedures (ATC LVPs) will be
applied.Pilots will be informed when this procedure are in
operation by ATIS or RTF.
Departing ACFTAdvanced Surface Movement Guidance and Control
System (A-SMGCS) is availa-ble. ATC will normally clear the
departing ACFT to the RWY 36R CAT II holdingpoint (HPN) specified
below and departing ACFT on the apron 1 and/or apron 2will proceed
to apron exit holding point (HPA1 and/or HPA2) by following the
Fol-low-me car, and then will continue taxi to RWY 36R holding
point by itself.Departing ACFT on the apron 3 will pushed back
until available to use the TWY Ywhile TWY Y centerline lights are
active and then will continue taxi to RWY 36Rholding point by
itself. If the TWY Y centerline lights are not active, the
depart-ing ACFT will proceed to apron exit holding point (HPA3) by
following the Follow-me car and then will continue taxi to RWY 36R
holding point by itself.
Arriving ACFTAdvanced Surface Movement Guidance and Control
System (A-SMGCS) is availa-ble and all RWY exits lightened. Pilots
should normally select the first convenientexit and continue to
taxi to the related apron entry holding point (HPA) specifiedabove
by itself, then continue taxi to the parking position by following
the Fol-low-me car, unless otherwise specified by ATC.When LVPs are
in force, reduced landing rate cab be implemented due to
therequirement for increased spacing between arriving ACFT. In
addition to the pre-vailing weather conditions, such factors as
equipment serviceability may alsohave an effect on landing rates.
For information and planning purposes, theapproximate landing rates
that can be expected are:
Phase Condition Procedures
A TDZ RVR less or equal 800m and/or cloud base less and
equal 300ft.
Intersection take-offs are not allowed. All interested units are
activated for LVP.
B TDZ and/or midpoint RVR less 550m and/or cloud base
less 200ft.
Intersection take-offs are not allowed. CAT II separation will
be provided and

ACFT operators should ensure that Mode S transponders are able
to operate whenACFT is on the ground.Flight crew should select
XPNDR or equivalent mode according to specific instal-lation, AUTO
if available, not OFF or STDBY, and the assigned Mode A code.From
the request for push-back or taxi, whichever is earlier, after
landing, untilfully parked on stand, ACFT should select XPNDR or
the equivalent mode (AUTO ifavailable) and the assigned Mode A
code.After fully parked, the Mode A code 2000 must be set before
selecting OFF orSTANDBY modes. Flight crew of ACFT equipped with
Mode S having an ACFT identification featureshould also set the
ACFT ident.This setting is the ACFT ident specified in item 7 of
the flight plan.ACFT ident should be entered from the request for
push-back or taxi, whichever isearlier, through FMS or transponder
control panel.
1.4. PREFERENTIAL RWY SYSTEM (PRS)Announcement of PRS Operations
in Progress by ATIS.Preferential RWY for landing is RWY 36C and RWY
36R. Pilots who do not acceptthe use of PRS operations for RWYs 36C
and 36R must notify the ATC authority atthe first contact. This
traffic may be subjected to delays.PRS Operations shall be used
when:- Preferred RWY/RWYs is/are dry and tail wind component does
not exceed
10 KT; or- Preferred RWY/RWYs is/are wet and tail wind component
does not exceed
5 KT.When braking action for the preferred RWY/RWYs is less than
"Good, Good,Good", RWY/RWYs to be used shall be selected so as to
make landing and take-off into the wind. Besides, in case of
landing within the tail wind limits, RWYshall be announced as
"clear and dry" even if the RWY is dry, or breaking meas-urement
data shall be released through ATIS.It is the pilot’s decision and
responsibility to accept or refuse the use of pre-ferred RWY/RWYs
determined by ATC. If the pilot-in-command requestspermission to
use a RWY other than the preferred one for landing or
take-offoperations due to safety or performance reasons, this
request will be met by ATCwhen it is available. In such cases, ACFT
may be subject to delay. ATC shallnotify pilots of delays expected
to exceed 30 minutes.

1.5. MANDATORY IMPLEMENTATION OF RNAV (GNSS) SIDS AND STARSRNAV
(GNSS) SIDs AND STARs procedures are mandatory for P-RNAV
approvedACFT which filed their FPL including one of PBN/D1-D2-O1-O2
equipped. There-fore, the P-RNAV approved ACFT arriving/departing
to/from LTAI are required toflight plan or submit a change message
(CHG) concerning the route section oftheir RPLs as described
below.1. GNSS based RNAV STARs for LTAI start from the
waypoints/fixes HISAR,
EKNUD, PIDEV, ADBEL, KULOL, GELKI, TOMBI, LORKO, NESIL, KOZLU,
BABSAand EKSEN. These waypoints/fixes shall be the last element of
the flightplanned routes for the P-RNAV approved ACFT as
illustrated below:- A flight planned route for the arrivals to LTAI
via CRD;
EXAMPLE: ..... CRD UR55 KOZLU2. GNSS based RNAV SIDs for LTAI
end at the waypoints/fixes HISAR, EKNUD,
PIDEV, ADBEL, KULOL, GELKI, TOMBI, LORKO, EVBOL, NESIL and
EKSEN. Thesewaypoints/fixes shall be the first element of the
flight planned routes for theP-RNAV approved ACFT as illustrated
below:- A flight planned route for the departures from LTAI via
HISAR;
EXAMPLE: HISAR UW77 .....
1.6. TAXI PROCEDURESCAT D and E ACFT shall keep the engine power
low and pilots-in-command shallcomply with the instructions of TWR
to be careful when they are entering or leav-ing the TWYs listed
below:
At the TWY D2 there is a holding point (1HP) for CAT C (wingspan
24-36m) andCAT D (wingspan 36-51m) ACFT to crossing from TWY G to
TWY L.
1.7. PARKING INFORMATIONParking stands 110 thru 123 are
invisible from Tower. All pilots concerned arestrictly advised to
act in conformity with Tower instructions.When approaching and
leaving the parking stands, the jet engine ACFT parked inthe stands
216 thru 226 shall start-up their engines in low running condition
inorder to avoid any problems. The parking stands 238 thru 247 are
designated forACFT whose wingspan does not exceed 79'/24m and also
connection rings havebeen installed for windy weather.
1.8. OTHER INFORMATIONBirds in the vicinity of the APT.ACFT
types AN124, AN225, C5, A380, B747-800 are not allowed to land at
theaerodrome (except presidential ACFT and special permitted
ACFT).

2.1. SPEED RESTRICTION2.1.1. WHILE USING RNAV STARs
- 200 KT on base leg/closing heading to final approach up to
12NM to touchdown.- 180 KT on final approach course within 12NM to
6NM to touchdown.- 160 KT on final approach course within 6NM to
4NM to touchdown.These speeds are for ATC separation purposes and
are MANDATORY and have tobe flown as accurately as possible. If
unable to comply, inform ATC and statewhat speed to be used.
2.1.2. WHILE USING CONVENTIONAL STARsMAX 250 KT at or below
10,000’ within TMA.- 200 KT on base leg/closing heading to final
approach up to 12NM to touchdown.- 180 KT on final approach course
within 12NM to 6NM to touchdown.- 160 KT on final approach course
within 6NM to 4NM to touchdown.
2.1.2.1. FOR STARs BASED ON AYT VOR OR GEY NDB- MAX 280 KT at
60NM from AYT VOR.- MAX 240 KT at 30NM from AYT VOR.- MAX 220 KT at

2.2. COMMUNICATION FAILURE PROCEDURE2.2.1. RF FOR IFR FLIGHTS
OUTSIDE TMA
Select transponder code 7600. Follow the flight plan route using
last assigned andacknowledged FL. For 3 minutes execute relevant
STAR. Then, descending 12000’proceed to LRA VOR. Descend to 3000’
over LRA VOR and execute InstrumentApproach Procedure (IAP) and
land.
2.2.2. RF FOR IFR FLIGHTS INSIDE TMAIf available, call Antalya
APP telephone number 0090 242 330 32 32.Unless RWY for landing has
previously been notified, the RWY to be used shall be36R for
direction 36 whereas 18L for direction 18.
ACFT at or above 12,000’Select transponder code 7600. For 3
minutes execute last assigned and acknowl-edged ATC instructions.
Then, descending 12,000’ proceed to LRA VOR. Descend to3000’ over
LRA VOR and execute Instrument Approach Procedure (IAP) and
land.
ACFT below 12,000’, at or above 3000’Select transponder code
7600. Proceed to LRA VOR, descend or maintain lastassigned and
acknowledged altitude. Descend to 3000’ over LRA VOR and
executeInstrument Approach Procedure (IAP) and land.Note: ACFT on
downwind legs shall execute this procedure regardless of alti-
tude or FL.
ACFT below 3000’Select transponder code 7600. Proceed to
relevant FAF and land.

2.4. MINIMUM RWY OCCUPANCY TIMEPilots must arrange their landing
to vacate the RWY via the rapid exit TWYs (dis-played in the table
below), if the RWY conditions and wind are convenient, inorder to
minimize the RWY occupation time. Traffic that is not able to
vacate viathe TWYs in the table below must inform ATC on final
approach phase. The dis-tances in the table are not officially
declared distances. They are only shared as aguide for the flight
crew.

3.1. START-UP PROCEDURESPilots of departing ACFT are reminded to
contact ANTALYA Delivery for ATCclearance 10 minutes before
start-up.It is strictly forbidden to make power-back through using
engine’s reverse thrust.ACFT parking operations are handled by
automatic guidance system on the parkingpositions with jet ways. On
the other positions, guidance is made manually bymarshallers.
3.1.1. CROSS-BLEED START-UP PROCEDURESOnly the traffic that have
APU failure may request cross-bleed start-up. Thistraffic, after
informing ATC, may request cross-bleed start-up.
Cross-bleedstart-up shall be performed at the apron centerline, and
all safety measures shallbe taken in the area by the operator
itself.Flight crew requesting cross-bleed start-up should inform
the ATC before pushingback. The request should be made as "Call
Sign + Parking Position + RequestCross-Bleed Start-up".Flight crew
performing the cross-bleed and the Ground handling company
areresponsible for creating the necessary safety distance.
3.2. MINIMUM RWY OCCUPANCY TIMEPilots, granted line-up
clearance, must be ready to depart immediately after theyreceive
take-off clearance. Pilot-in-command unable to comply with this
require-ment shall notify ATC, just after receiving the line-up
clearance.
3.3. NOISE ABATEMENT PROCEDURESAPU is allowed to be switched on
15 minutes before estimated start-up.For departures, any ACFT
having compliance with the noise category ICAO Annex 16 Chapter 3
and 4 shall apply NADP-2 whereas all other ACFT whose
noisecategories are in compliance with ICAO Annex 16 Chapter 2
shall only applyNADP-1.Pilots shall apply Noise Abatement Departure
Procedure 1 or 2 (NADP-1 or NADP-2) which has been explained in
ICAO Doc 8168 Vol 1 until passing 3000’.
