Trident Manor adopts a consultative and collaborative approach to its client relationships; recognising that different clients have individual priorities, circumstances and requirements. Therefore the initial ‘Discussion and Understanding’ stage is there to ascertain the client’s expectations and the services that are needed or required. This initial consultation stage is free of charge.

A review of existing or proposed security and risk reduction measures is then undertaken, including site visits, the completion of a threat identification process, a client specific risk assessment, documentary and procedural review and discussions with key stakeholders. This allows the preparation of a series of options and recommendations to be made in order to reduce any identified risks and vulnerabilities. The client is then able to make informed decisions about how they wish to proceed.

The options and recommendations are then implemented before a secondary review (Post Implementation Review) is conducted in order to confirm that the selected risk reduction methods have been correctly implemented.

Education and Training ServicesEducation and training are viewed by Trident Manor as separate protective security measures in their own right. Security education is a means of engaging with the wider workforce to ensure that they understand why security measures are in place and the part they need to play in keeping the organisation secure. Security training involves the delivery of specific skills that are necessary for undertaking a security function or role.

Corporate Research ServicesTrident Manor undertakes investigative research on behalf of corporate clients in order to establish facts and to identify risks and vulnerabilities that are not normally obvious at first glance. Our research process involves data collection, analysis, interviewing, surveillance or, if necessary, the deployment of undercover personnel.

These services are used by clients to conduct due diligence enquiries against prospective clients or vendors, employment screening processes to ensure the correct personnel are being recruited, to identify fraudulent activities or criminal acts or to conduct post incident analysis to prevent reoccurrences.

Andy has been involved in security and risk management activities since 1987. He holds a Master’s of Science (MSc.) degree from the University of Leicester in Security and Risk Management, he is a Chartered Security Professional (CSyP), a Fellow of the Security Institute (FSyI) and board certified by ASIS Intl. as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP).

He brings with him skills and experiences gained within the British military, the UK police service, as a diplomat (responsible for protecting British governmental assets overseas) and from the international corporate world as the head of security, safety and risk for a multi-billion dollar ‘Master Developer’ organisation based in the Middle East.

Andy has conducted risk, security and crisis management activities on four different continents and in fourteen different countries across a wide range of industries and sectors including; diplomatic, corporate, oil and gas, construction, hospitality and humanitarian.

Since returning to the UK Andy has continued to be involved with security design projects, creating organisational risk management strategies and advising corporate organisations on threat risk and crisis management vulnerabilities that exist in the UK and whilst operating internationally.

He is a member of the ‘CSO Round Table’ (Chief Security Officer), an exclusive group of top global security executives and a part of their Leadership Development Committee. In addition, he is actively involved at committee and working group levels in the introduction of industry standards in ‘Investigation’ and ‘Risk Management’ disciplines on behalf of ASIS International (ASIS/ANSI/RIMS).

Andy is passionate about supporting charities and humanitarian organisations especially those in Africa and Asia who’s lives are blighted by conflict and climatic extremes.
