Celebrations started on 14 th August were students celebrated virtually, followed by the flag hoisting on 15 th August. Students watched presentations on Indian Freedom Movement, meaning and the importance of freedom, struggle and sacrifice made by freedom fighters, and above all the need to value freedom. Students anchored the program, gave melodious musical performances, patriotic medleys, quiz related to freedom struggle, speeches, mass drill exercises and many more. As India celebrates its 74th Independence Day, we at Sanghamitra
School also wish to instill Indian ethos of peace, non-violence, love and
harmony to the children. Celebrations started on 14th August were
students celebrated virtually, followed by the flag hoisting on 15th

Students watched presentations on Indian Freedom Movement,

Sanghamitra School in its 30th year follows a tradition where we

honour the school topper accompanied by their parents, the prviledge
of hoisting the National Flag on Independence Day. The school topper
is our Chief Guest for the event. All achievers are invited and honoured
with watches, acknowledging their hard work and commitment in
achieving 90% and above, keeping the school flag flying high.
During this corona pandemic in order to be safe, healthy, and
practicing social distancing, Class X Batch 2019-2020 school topper
Velineni Harsha Arvind who scored 98% hoisted the National flag
accompanied by his parents. It was followed with singing the National
Anthem. Arundathi Mam, Principal, HM, PET, Music department, and
support staff participated in the event. Mam, participated in the event.
Mam in her address said that student who achieved 90% and above will
be honoured with their watch in the next National festival that is 26 th
