Join us in congratulating
Ms. Meka Montgomery, our Assistant Director,

10th Anniversary with our school! We are so thankful for all her years of hard
work and dedication as our Pre K2 teacher and now as our Assistant Director.
We Love You Ms. Meka!
Our school will be closed for a Staff In Service Training
on President’s Day,
Monday, February 15th.
Thanks in advance for your cooperation.
This month’s Dinner To Go will consist of
BBQ chicken, Mac ‘n Cheese, String Beans and a roll. The plates are $5 and will be
ready for pick up between 4pm-6pm. All profit we make will be donated to Harper Wanner’s mom, Tina. She is
currently fighting Stage 4 Cancer of the Ureter that has spread to the lymph nodes in her abdomen. Naturally, her treatments are
very expensive. Your enthusiastic support of Dinner to Go will be tremendously appreciated by both
our school and Harper’s family! Thanks for all your help!

Healthy Bodies in Motion: Creating Sugar Bugs on Teeth
The early years in a child’s development are the best time for a child to learn about oral health and to develop a positive attitude about good dental habits. By concentrating on dental health activities the students will learn how to keep their teeth healthy: brushing, eating tooth-friendly foods, flossing, and the importance
of going to the dentist.

Measuring Car After a day of measuring at school, Sam and Sara have tried to measure almost everything on their way home. When they get to their favorite play area, Sam wonders how far it is from the tree house to the ice-cream shop. Sam says that it doesn’t look that far from where he’s standing. Sam pulls out a measuring tape and wants to
start measuring , but Sara thinks there could be a much better way of measuring distance. Can you help Sam and Sara build a car that measures how far it travels?
