1.One-On-Ones&Two-On-Ones

Numberone.Thesearen'tinnecessarilyorder,exceptnumberseven.Numbersevenisnumbersevenonpurpose.Therest,onethroughsix,arehaphazardlythrowntogether,butthey'reallimportant.Numberone,one-on-onesandtwo-on-ones.Thisissomethingwhereyoulearntohavetheconfidencetositface-to-facewithsomebodyandbeabletopresentwhatitisthatyouhavetooffer.

Forthosethatmaynotknow,atwo-on-oneiswheremaybeyou'rethepersonleadingthechargeandyou'redoingthatforateammate,sothere'stwoofyouandoneprospect.One-on-onesandtwo-on-ones,it'sabreadandbutterinalotofdifferentnetworkmarketingcompanies.Notallofthem,butinalotofthem.

One-on-ones,two-on-ones,breadandbutter.Maybeyou'remeetingthematPanera.Maybeyou'remeetingthematStarbucks,thingslikethat.Thisisabasicskill.

Weteachalotofinternetmarketing.I'lltellyou,alotofpeoplegototheinternetoutofweakness,becausethey'renotwillingtogetbetteratface-to-facepresentingorgetbetterathavingmoreconfidenceofflineortalkingtosomebodyelse.

Thisisreallyheretogainthatfirstlevelofconfidence.Ihesitatetocallitapresenter,butitreallyis.Itisatypeofpresenting.That'sone-on-ones,two-on-ones.It'snotsomethingthat'ssuperleveraged,becauseit'snotrecorded,butitispowerful,anditiseffective.

Iknowpeoplethathavebuilttheirentirebusinessesthroughone-on-onesandtwo-on-ones,mainly,thatledtootherevents.We'lltalkaboutthat.

2.GroupPresentations

Numbertwo,grouppresentations.Manyofyoudon'tknowthestoryfrommyveryfirstnetworkmarketingcompanythatIwaseverin.InFebruary2006wasactuallywhenIofficiallyjoinedmyfirstnetworkmarketingcompany.Backthen,Iwasn'tsupercoachable.

Ididn'tfollowasystem,andIwasawildman.Ididhavesomesuccessinthatcompany.Itdidn'tlast,butthatwasn'tnecessarilybecauseofnetworkmarketing.IwouldsayitwasmoreofthewaythatIhandledmyself.However,IgraspedveryquicklythatifIwantedtobuildateamfast,grouppresentationswasabigkey.Someofyouonhere,maybeyou'relike,"Ray,screwthis.Iwanttodointernets.Internetsismyway,man.Grouppresentationisforthebirds."

Icantellyouthatifyouonlyoperateonline,youaregoingtomissalotofpeople,alotofpeople.ThewaythatIbuiltthatveryfirstcompanyand,quitefrankly,alotofmylastcompany,whereIwasthenumberoneincomeearner,wasthroughgrouppresentations.

Iwasdoingalotofgrouppresentations,becauseitjustmadesensetome.Icaneithersitinfrontofonepersonandsay,"Hey,doyouwanttojoinmydeal?"OrIcanstandinfrontofmultiple

Somequicktipswithgrouppresentationsis,ifyoumasterthatskillofrunninggrouppresentations,we'reactuallygoingtobeteachinghowtorungrouppresentationsatoureventinJanuary.

I'mnotactuallypitchingthatonheretoday,butwearedoinganeventinJanuaryinFlorida,allabouthowtobeamoreeffectiveandmotivatingspeaker/presenterandhowtorungrouppresentations.I'mnotreallytalkingabouttheeventheretoday,butgrouppresentations,very,verypowerful.

Ifyoucanmasterthat,whatthatmeansisyoucangointoanycityandyoucanbuildateam.IcanputyouinLima,Peru,andyoucanbuildateamwiththatskill.That'sjustbasedonmyexperience.Webuiltalotofteamsaroundgrouppresentationslocally.Verypowerful.Keepinmind,Iusealotofinternetmarketing,don'tI?HereIam,simulcasting.Ibelieveintheinternet.Idon'thaveaproblemwiththeinternet.I'mnotsayingthisistheonlyway,butitisaverypowerfulway.

3.Webinars

Numberthree,webinars.Webinarsare,inmyopinion,thelowestoverhead,fastestwaytosellanything.Letmesaythatagain.Thelowestoverhead,fastestwaytosayanything.

They'realittledifferentthangrouppresentations.You'renotinfrontofpeople'sfaces.Youdon'tgettogaugetheaudienceasyou'relookingthemintheeyes.You'resittinginyouroffice,likeI'mstandinginmyofficerightnow.Webinarsareextremely,extremelypowerful.Mostpeopleeitherdon'tdothembecausetheydon'tknowhowtodothem,ortheydothemthewrongway.

I'mgoingtogiveyouacoupletipsthere,whenitcomestowebinars.Numberone,whenmarketingyourwebinar,andthisiscommonsensetomarketers,butmostnetworkmarketingcompaniesaren'tmarketers.Mostnetworkmarketersaren'tmarketers.Theydon'tthinklikemarketers.Ithinklikeamarketer.Iamanetworkmarketer,butIthinklikeamarketer.

Thendivealittledeeperwithpsychologyandaskyourself,"What'sthebenefitofthebenefit?"IfIhaveaweightlossshake,whichIdonot,butifIdid,whatwasthebenefit?Thebenefitis,youloseweight.Thebenefitis,youhavebetterhealth.Thebenefitis,yourclothesfeelbetter.What'sthebenefitofthatbenefit?Thebenefitofthebenefitiswhenyouseeyourfriends.

Ifyou'redoingitpersonallyandnoneofyourteammatesaremarketingit,thenhaveyourlink,butwalkthemthroughthelink.Don'tjustsay,"Gohereandsignup."Theproblemis,networkmarketingcompaniesdon'thaveafrickin'clueaboutmarketing.Theydon't,noneofthem.Whenyougotoasign-uppage,there's533options.There's,doIwantthejuniorpackage?DoIwantthecrownpackage?DoIwantthelemonpackage?DoIaddthison?DoIgetthebrassballpackage?Idon'tknowwhattodo!Aconfusedminddoesn'tbuy.Youneedtobeveryclear.

Whatyoudo,thatnobodydoes,nobody.Whatyoudoinyourwebinar,ifyou'rerunningitforyouasanindividual,isyoutakescreenshots.Yousay,"Whenyougotothispagerighthere,here'sthelink.Whenyougotothispage,Iwantyoutoselectthisandselectthis."Iwantyoutodrawacirclearoundthem.Iwantyoutopointarrowstothem.

That'scool.Whateverworks,man.Whateverworks.If'ssomething'sworkinginyourcompany,keepdoingit.It'sawesome.Conferencecalls,letmegiveyouapointeronthis.Youwanttobeverycarefultohowyouattempttomotivateyourpeople.Ifyoumotivateyourpeopleinawaythatmakesthemfeelbad,they'regoingtoquit.Icanspeakfromexperience.Inmylastnetworkmarketingcompany,whenIfirststartedthat,Iwasajuggernaut.IwasBeast.

I'mlike,"You'vegottobeprospectingeveryminuteoftheday!"Iwassoinpeople'sfacethatalotofpeoplethatwouldhavestayedcustomersforeverjustquit,becausetheydidn'twanttodisappointme.Becarefulonyourteamconferencecalls.Becarefulhowyouinteractwithyourpeople.

Ifyou'regoingtogiveoutsomehustlergoalslike,"Thisishowtostepitup",prefaceitwithsaying,"Ifyou'reonhereandyou'reacustomerandyoulovebeingacustomer,awesome.Weloveyou.Weloveyousomuch.You'reawesome,butifyou'reonhereandyouwanttobuildabusiness,here'satipforyou."Prefaceit.

Behindcloseddoors,youcanbe,youfindoutwhichofyourteammatesarecoachable.That'swhoyourockandrollwith.I'mnotsayinghavesugarinyourshoeswhenitcomestoallofyourtraining.I'msayingenmasse,youneedtounderstandthatthere'ssomepeoplelisteningthatdon'twanttobuildamillion-dollarbusiness.It'strue.Ifyoutreateveryonelikethey'reashungryasyouareandtheywanttobeabillionairelikeyoudo,thenyou'regoingtoturnsomepeopleoff.Why?There'snoreasonto.

5.VideoMarketing

Numberfive,videos.Idon'tcomprehendsomeonethatisinbusinessthatdoesn'tdovideos.Idon'tcomprehendit.Wenowhaveelectricity,andwenowhavetheinternet.Withtheadventofelectricityandtheadventoftheinternet,youshouldbedoingvideos.It'sliterallycrazyifyou'renot.

It'scrazyifyou'renotdoingvideos,nomatterwhatbusinessyou'rebuilding.IfIwasgoingintoplumbing,IassureyouIwoulddemolisheveryfrickin'plumberinmycity.Ipromiseyou,Iwouldsmashthemtosmithereenswithoutknowingadamnthingaboutplumbing,becausemymarketingwoulddominatethem.

Why?Becausepeoplearelookingforeducationbeforetheypurchase.Youneedtounderstandthat.Mostnetworkmarketers,becausetheydon'tthinklikemarketers,I'mnotsurewhattheythinklike.Theydon'tthinklikemarketers.They'reouttherepitchingtheirsalespage."Hey,youwanttobuythis?Hey,youwanttobuythis?Haveyouheardofthis?Youwanttobuythis?"They'renoteducating.Educate.Learntodoeducation.Youdothat,mainly,throughvideo.Mainlythroughvideo.Thisisanothermajortopicwe'regoingtobecoveringinourJanuaryevent.

Justafewmonthsago,Iwasveryblessed.MyfriendEricWorrehadmeonhisstage.SharedthestagewithTonyRobbins,BobProctor,RobertKiyosaki,awholebunchofotheramazing,amazingindividuals.Very,veryblessed.

Idon'thaveanyofthatstuffwhenI'mguestspeakingonstage,buttwothingshappen:

1. Whenyouarethetypeofpersonthatgetsaskedtospeakonstage,youattractplayers.Youattractpeoplethatwanttoworkwithpeopleplayingbig.

2. Yourconfidencegoesthroughtheroof.Thisrighthere,it'sindirect.Thisisn'tlike,"Iwanttorecruitmorepeople.Letmelearnhowtogetonotherpeople'sstages."Whathappensisthatwhenyouareaguestspeakeronsomeoneelse'sstageisyourconfidencegoesthroughtheroof,whichaffectseverytransactionandeveryinteraction.

Youknowthatyou'vebeenaskedtospeakonsomeone'sstage.You'renolongerwalkingintoaone-on-one,two-on-oneandthinking,"Ihopetheylikeit."You'reconfident.That'soneofthekey.

Letmethinkaboutthis.I'mgoingtosayit.Thebiggestturningpointinmycareerwasgettingovermyfearofspeaking.Thatwasbackin2003,maybe2002,2003?Thatwasthebiggestturningofmycareer.I

wasn'tinnetworkmarketingbackthen.IwasincorporateAmerica,butturningonthatconfidencegeneinsideme,whichwasthereallalong.Itwasjusthiding.Itwaslike,"Idon'twanttoplay,Ray.No,no,no.No.I'mgoingtohide."

I'vegotadaughter.She'stwoandahalfmonthsold,soI'musedtodoingbabytalk.Turningthatswitch,turningthatconfidencegeneoniswhatgavemetheconfidencetoleavethatjobtogotothisjobandthentogofull-time.I'vebeenafull-timeentrepreneurnowfortenyears,asofthisyear.That'ssomethingindirect.You'renotgoingtostudyhowtogetonotherpeople'sstagesbecauseyouhaverecruitinggoals,butwhenyougettoapoint,whenyou'vedonealloftheseotherthingswherepeopleareaskingyoutospeakonstage,yourecruitmore.Youchange.

7.PlayBigger

Thatleadsmetothefinalonehere:playbigger.Thequestionthereis,youmaynotbeabletoreadit,butit'swhoareyou?Whoareyou?Therearetwomainstepstochangingyourlifetowhereyoucanrecruitatwill.Youcanbuildanything.YoucouldbedroppedoffinSaskatchewan,Canada,withoutawalletandwithoutalaptopandyoucouldbuildanempire.Allofthathastodowithtwothings.Numberone,yourlanguage.Howdoyoudefineyourworld?Howdoyoudescribeyourself?WhatareyourIamstatements?

Arethey,"Iamfrustrated,overwhelmed,stressedout,broke."Aretheythose?Thenthat'swhatyou'regoingtoexperiencemoreof.Arethey,"Iampowerful"?Arethey,"I'llfigureshitout"?Arethey,"I'mgoingtomakethisthinghappen.I'maconqueror.I'madominator.I'mamake-it-happenkindofperson.I'mafrickin'rockstar."Ifit'sthatkindoflanguage,thenyou'regoingtoexperiencethatworld.

Whatisyourvision?WhenIinitiallygotovermyfearofspeaking,IhadavisionofspeakingontheVegasstrip,whichmadenosense.

Iwasworkingforacountygovernment.WhywouldIeverspeakontheVegasstrip?Itdidn'tmakeanysense.Inaboutayearandahalflater,Ithink,maybetwoyearslater,IwasspeakingatPlanetHollywood.Totallydifferentworld,justadifferentworld.Whodoyouwanttobecome?Ifyoumasterthis,ifyoumasterwhoyouwanttobecome,ifyoumastertheartofplayingbigger,ifyoumastertheartoftacklingskillsthatmaynotbedirectlytowhatyouwanttoaccomplishbutareadmittedlyplayingbigger,allofthesethingsgetbetter.
