Be a lifesaver – and be our new parish coordinator for our quarterly blood drives! This takes just a few hours of your time but is truly a life-giving ministry. You do NOT have to be a donor to be the coordinator. Here are the basic steps you follow only FOUR times a year!
• You set up the dates for the drives with Lifeblood and the parish office
• Lifeblood mails you all the posters, flyers and schedule for the drive as well as lists of eligible donors
• Contact donors to give on the chosen dates (Social Ministry volunteers can help with phone calls)
• Encourage new donors • Send schedule of appointments to Lifeblood
Most of the work can be done by email. If you are willing to help, please contact Caroline Barnett at 901-734-1162 or [email protected]

This weekend retreat will take time to consider, practice, and discuss the creative nature we all share. This is not an art class or a craft weekend. You donot need to be able to draw or paint. You only needto have a desire to explore the creator in you. It is atime to connect with the Great Creator and explorethe artist in you through writing and various visualarts media. This weekend will be divided betweendiscussion, contemplative time, exploring and practicing creative expression. The goal of theweekend is not to produce a piece of 'art' but to use artistic expression and to find its place inyou and live your creative calling, daily-- wherever you live, work, and pray.
To live is to create. Take this time to nurture the gift of God's creative life in you.
Suggested Offering: $195 – Single occupancy $165 – Double occupancy (per person)All art supplies included in price.
About the Presenter: Art, imagination and creativity have always been a part of my world. Ibecame re-energized concerning art and spirituality, during my Masters program at CreightonUniversity. The encouragement and interaction with others of similar interests during thosemonths at Creighton inspired me to share the joy and fulfillment that can come by embracing
the everyday artist. Paulanne Townsend
