(Victoria Loca-tions 5493 and 5994) and portion of Homestead Farm
Lease 17485/74 (Victoria Location 5493) for Townsite Purposes: And
'Whereas it is expedient that the said Proclamation should be
revoked: Now therefore Major General Sir Harry Barron, Governor as
afore-said, with the advice of the Executive Council, do by this my
Proclamation revoke the said Proclamation of the 31st March, 1914,
resuming the said areas, which areas are hereby reinstated as
portions of Conditional Purchase Lease 30426/55 and Homestead Farm
Lease 17485/74 aforesaid.

1898;"' the Governor May resume, for any of the purposes speci-fied
ill Section 39 of the said Act, any portion- of laud held as a
Grilling Lease: And Whereas it is deemed expedient that the portion
of Grazing Lease 1905/68 (Avon Location 6335), as described
hereunder, should he resumed for one of the purposes specified in
par.a.- graph of Section 39 of the said Act, that is to say for
Townsite: Now therefore 1, Major. General Sir Harry Barron,
Governor as aforesaid, with the advice of the Executive Council, do
by this my proclamation re-sume portion of Grazing Lease 1905/6S
for the pur-pose aforesaid.

5586/14. WHEREAS by "The Metropolitan Water Supply,
Sew-erage,.and Drainage Act, 1909,'' it is provided in Sec-tion 20
that the Governor may exempt such reticulation works as in his
discretion he may think fit from the operations of certain sections
of this Act: Now, there-fore, His Excellency the Governor, with the
advice of the Executive Council, does hereby exempt the
reticula-tion works as hereinafter described from the operations of
khibsections (a) and (b) of Section 20, and Sections 2l, 22, and 23
of the said Act:—
Description of said Reticulation, .A four-inch stoneware pipe
sewer, with all apparatus
relating thereto; being a portion of Area 17, Perth, and
einninencing, from Manhole No. -1453 and proceeding in a. Westerly
direction through private property and across Harold Street,. and
thence again through private property, for a distance of 150
feet.

Regulation 3 of the Supplementary Regulations under "The Public

Selection is limited to ONE LOT to each person unless otherwise
stated. Plans showing the arrangements of the Lots referred to will
Shortly be obtainable at this office and the various
District or Branch Land and Survey Offices. Applications may be
lodged at the offices mentioned at any time prior to.the dates

event of two or more applications for the same lot, priority will
be determined as prescribed by Section '17 of
" The-Land-Act, 1898," and Section 2 of " The Land Act Amendment

Clerk in charge of the District or Branch Land and survey office at
the place mentioned before his application is approved.

virtue of the powers conferred under Section 30 of ''The Mining
Act, 1904," has been pleased to grant to Arthur Norman Branson
Authority to Mine No. 213H (1/14) on certain reserved and exempted
lands within Water. Reserve No. 13956, East Murchison Goldfield, to
be held as Prospecting Area No. 68:5, conditionally:—
(1.) That no mining operations on Water Reserve No. 13956 shall
be carried on below water level, nor within a radius of 200 feet of
the Stock -Well, except that the applicant be allowed to carry on
mining operations -within an old shaft near the Northern boundary
of Prospecting Area No. 685, which is within the radius of 200 feet
of the Stock Well, such mining operations in the shaft being
confined to above water level.
(2.) That the applicant shall fill in or securely fence all
holes and excavations dangerous to stock.
